A (hopefully) more competitive redo of my current zombie deck. Reasoning behind cards: Geralf's and Gravecrawler for shock troops. Death baron and lord of the undead for added punch. Grave titan, gray merchant, and Mikaeus for finishers. Dark Rituals for fast play. Altar's reap for card draw. Go for the throat for removal. Lord of the undead and ghoulcaller's chant, and unholy grotto to get your zombies back. Duress and Thoughtseize for discard.If you wanted to make it modern legal I would probably switch out the dark rituals for more discard (distress, inquisition of kozilek) or removal (doom blade, hero's downfall, tragic slip).
A creature based deck. Generally want to start being aggressive right off the bat. Ideally a thoughtseize or dark ritual/geralf's on turn 1. Continue with the assault until dead.
