New to Commander and I cracked Invocation Locust God, so I knew I had to brew. A mix between a traditional Izzet deck with the standards, highlighting card draw had wheel effects. While there are plenty of creatures, instants and sorceries are the heavies. Got ideas from looking at about 5 different deck lists, including MTGoldfish, but wanted to make it my own.
- Focus is abusing wheel effects and general card draw to create loads of tokens with haste.- Purphoros pings your opponents as you do this (as well as Goblin Bombardment)- Ashnod's Altar+Skullclamp combo let you go wild with tokens via card draw-Metallic Mimic included to pump tokens- Lots of creatures with wheel (Magus) effects or card draw (Forgotten creation)- Reduction of instant/sorcery spells (Jace's Sanctum/Goblin Electromancer)- Board wipes (Hour of Devastation/Blasphemous Act)- Buyback with Past in Flames- A little disruption (Disallow/Void Shatter)- Of course, Propaganda to slow down opponents- And Mirage Mirror cause why not?
