You may want to consider Wash Out; for only 2 mana more it can cause opponents some serious headaches and not just if they play mono

it's extremely effective imo and underplayed; you can try it out, see which you like more

Salient is probably right about mill though; although 8 creatures in ur deck will make it hard to be sure to take out anyone; remember counterspells can drain ur hand in an instant; from there onwards I guess it's fingers crossed..

it only takes one vexing shusher really to render ur counterdeck next to useless; plus you can't counter everything your opponent plays; it just does't work like that

sounds good and simple in theory, reality is somewhat different in this case, i usually dont like relying too heavily on counterspells when playing blue cause there are simply too many cards to deal with them, especially when facing white and green, so maybe consider a different tactic to deal with threats than with counterspells

into the roil wont do you much good against shroud, also I think its a waste of cards, one for one thats still there... dont see the gain here

add quest for ancient secrets in sideboard or even consider gaeas blessing even if its green, its more effective against mill. add 4 and u wont mind mill decks so nuch

finally the creatures are too expensive, add cheaper, faster creatures if you want to play creature based for the victory

also adding a color may make the deck more viable

it's too one dimensional/ creature based;

add some non creature cards and extra defense

I like ur deck; maybe add indestructibility for ur hub, silence and the white instant that counters an instant so it doesn't get countered

also, how are you gonna take out ur opponent precisely?? any offensive spells?? (apart from Sacred Mesa) you may want to consider stuffy doll with guilty conscience for this type of deck

also Ivory Mask against mill and quick red decks; maybe some disenchants against early game combos

you need more mill; instead of drawing more mill cards, just have more in ur deck??????

also, ur mana curve is problematic! ull get slaughtered early game; some of the cards are a bit random; so I'd defintely consider more mill if that's what ur going for or add control (best way to do that is by adding white) ;)

maybe add Garruk or Overrun and some more spells/protection

one wrath of god or wash out is enough to sink ur deck

also add merrow rejeerey, you don't need that many merfolk btw, try adding some protective cards or counterspells against wrath of god type spells; also against other combos etc

creatures are usually an easy target for control decks if you don't protect them

seems a bit one dimensional, and why only 2 isochron scepters if ur gonna use the combo?? also, the creatures are a bit expensive to play; consider getting rid of all the creatures and adding some early defense, or you'll be toast

haunting echoes is really good, consider putting 4 in ur deck, also extirpate is really good and duress to break up early combos, also think about how ur gonna stop fast paced burn decks, Ivory Mask, Isochron with Orim's chant, all of which could hurt u

(fast elf decks,..)

seems a bit onedimensional; I like the shadow theme, but fast creature decks will do more damage and at a faster rate (eg elf decks with all the tokens, life gain,..)

Also, you don't have a lot of discard; try adding Duress and Hymn to Tourach; not sure why the damage cards are in there; also not a big fan of Megrim due to its mana cost of 3 by which time you're supposed to have depleted your opponents hand anyway, if you go for discard

Like you said, it's all a bit of a long shot and costly; I guess playing this deck must give you a lot of nightmares being overrun in the early game...

Seriously, there are cheaper and better combos out there if you go for control;

not enough protection; you need more control to make it work

It's not really a discard deck, and ur not counting ur opponents' turn in ur deck description ;) (turn 4 wrath of God?????????) ;)
hehehe

it looks OK though u may run in trouble against other creature decks (eg elves, vampires), which are generally fast and have stronger creatures;

Also may run into trouble vs control decks, (counters, Ivory MAsk, etccccc)

Like u said, it's slow and not very versatile (pretty much only creatures), yet it appears to be fun; consider using some low mana cost creatures to stall opponents and make it more playable

Also, since ur playing red, u may want to consider Fortune Thief vs creature decks

You need some early creatures; Luminarch Ascension won't do you any good if u keep taking damage;

Also, you don't need Mind Spring and there are more effective counters than Cancel; also if ur using Martial Coup to get rid of creatures add some more Day of Judgments and consider Wrath of God, since 7 mana is a lot, chances are ur wiped off the board by then

yeah, you need to play 1 each turn though for three consecutive turns at six mana meaning ur vulnerable for at least the first 4-5 turns (even with extra mana generators)

usually wrath of god and judgment day are a better option imo or some enchantment like Ghostly Prison or porphyry nodes if u play without creatures; thanks for the tip though ;)

maybe add some more punch, some stronger creatures and add some spells and effects other than goblins to add some balance, since you may run in trouble against fast creature decks

I would either go with vampires or a burn deck; not sure it's a good idea to combine both; also mind creatures with shrouds; most of ur creature killers require you to target creatures; consider chainer's edict, diabolic edict,... instead

also try and speed the deck up a little

I would get rid of The Rack; not that good; also replace some of the bouncers for counterspells or creature killers like Chainer's Edict, Diabolic Edict,... many creatures have shroud, so the bouncers won't do you any good; also not a fan of Erayo, too situational

Try adding some defense other than boomerang-effect spells for more protection; maybe add white for better control cards, or add wash out (though that probably goes against ur theme ;) )
