Yo boss! I know well about the night mess ha ha ha! Here is my opinion that you called. Its a smooth deck, deffo! Like the Counter Balance combo but its not a win con and think you could use a second one apart from Painter/grind. There is a lot of Extraction decks out there and without Painter's or Grindstone you got shit! Counter Balance would work safer if you had more 3 cost ones here. Mostly cus u aint playin FoW... Phyrexian Dreadnought + Torpor Orb would fit in here, both can be tutored with Enlightened Tutor. Its also a two card combo and eazy peazy to pull off. Could maybe be instead of some of the Ponders, never like them cus they aint instants. If you not already have seen my U/W then check it out. Its fairly strong. I use the Tinker + Blightsteel Colossus as a second one, but that's Vintage I know :) Enough for me now... its gettin late. lol
This is definitely one of the best combo in recent times, perhaps that's why my play group don't wanna see it any more..lol The greatest enemy for a painter/millstone deck is Extraction-decks, Arti-hater decks and Hard-Discard. Thats why I prefer to have a second combo or thing to do. Wurmcoil Engine works damn good with Welder or if you are forced to discard. -And with Gamble and/or Intuition as well. Takin out one of each Arti lands could be a opportunity. Also switch one Pyroblast Red out for one Elemental Blast just in case. Hey Mursh! It was from u I had my inspy.. think u got one of the best sliver deck ive seen on this site. Thumbs up boi! Maybe u right about Hibernation.. haven't think that true. Its blue as well and work together with FoW to. WoF its a powerful one and way better then Windfall...shame its red-- he he Harmonic Sliver is bad cus you have to destroy target artifact or enchantment and not "may" which can destroy ya own if the opponent got none,,, Thought I had looked all slivers true...but maybe Synapse Sliver could be a choice?... ill drink one it ;) make the changes next year! Hey slash P! I know all about the formats. My fault that I have not written it, but in my play group, we only play vintage without P9 :) FOW is one of the most powerful cards in every format and when I got em, ill use cus i can. Wont change the Vial ether and that's why I only play 2 Ancient Ziggurat. I love blue and will always say that counter is better then removals.. thanks for the comment tho...:)
Carnival of Souls + Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry = and you get infinite tokens for less mana than the current combo
Tidal Warrior/Reef Shaman (sideboard) is mostly to irritate the opponent and can of cause be useful to my own Wasteland/Mutavault. Perhaps thats also answer the question about Spell Pierce... Like the equipments, but dont want em when I got none to tutor em. btw Sword of Fire and Ice beat em all! :) Phantasmal Image could maybe be a good one here... let me drink on it :) Gonna swing this deck next local tournament so thanks for the comments and thanks for takin ya time. can see what you mean by Felidar Sovereign. I had him under consideration .. but got nothing to tutor creatures and he costs 6 which is a high price in my low mana curve-deck. My combo gives me infinite life, so if I i need 40 or 50 life dos sent matter when I have 100,000,000

Farrel's Mantle could be a nice one here
Dragonskull Summit dont work together with Sulfurous Springs... Reflecting Pool would be better
