Deck Description

This is a deck I've been working on for a while. It is primarily a black/green deck with red splashed in for use of Into the Core (sideboard).

Its tough to categorize what this deck is. Its not 100% swarm but it attempts to have a small swarm. It does rely on combo's heavily. The win con-makes it very stompy, and its theme is sacrifice.

Anways, here's a description of how it works. Create your mini swarm of eldrazi spawn with either awakening zone, or sacrificing your creatures while a pawn of ulamog is in play.

The creature's you've sacrificed should be pumping up a blade of the bloodchief.

The spawn are used as: meat shields, mana for The Butcher of Malakir, Black Sun's Zenith, and Genesis wave.

Creature's designated for sacrifice: Bloodghast, Ornithopter, Viridian Emissary.

Any advice or critique's would be very welcome

Hi, have you thought of adding a couple of persecutors to the deck? With 3 seers and 3 bloodthrones you have plenty of outlets to sac with. Although would drop 1 seer and add a 4th bloodthrone instead. I have a b/r sac deck with a couple of other nasty tricks you may like, here's the link if you wanna check it out. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=152106

I do like the abyssal persecutor, what would you cut for it?

I did cut the Guul Draz Vampires, in favor of mortician's beetles. I really don't know why I wasn't running them in the first place.
