Nice take on exalted, Geist of Saint Traft is nasty in this deck. Any thoughts on SB yet?

I just build this online, and hope to have the deck completed within 2 weeks. I love B/W, and I want to abuse the exalted ability as much as possible. Comments, help, and advice are needed. Thanks. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373003

Have you put anymore thoughts into updating this deck to reflect the current, standard environment? I would be curious to see what if anything you changed. I have been a big fan of your build for awhile now.

I like where you are going with this. Two main things I would recommend checking out: # 1 Consider how many non-creature spells you are running, as you are using Thalia in this deck. # 2 Consider using Rancor... it is a beast of an enchantment for only (G)

I actually used your Cathars' Crusade idea, brilliant! I mean it is an expensive card, but it could wrap up the late game if it gets that far. I also like the idea of using Bonds of Faith.. I could see it being used either offensively or defensively.

I should have added this: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=346648 It's my latest FNM deck. I'd like to know what you think.

Awesome deck idea! This would be a lot of fun to play in FNM. I like the combination of Mortarpod, Grave Crawler, and Blood Artist. Blood Artist is a nasty card, and it successfully handed me defeat in the last FNM I played in. Plus, you gotta love Killing Wave. Really cool deck!

I like where you are trying to go with the deck. There is a lot of aggro right now in Standard, so I would suggest more control or removal. Dismember is a nice card, but Phyrexian mana can always be a bit iffy. If you are not wanting to splash black for Tragic Slips or Go For the Throat, I would suggest Oblivion Ring and Banishing Stroke. Gut Shots may also work better for you, and cost you less life. Most of the big threat creatures in Standard right now are weenies anyway. You may also want to consider other buffer enchantments like Honor of the Pure or Intangible Virtue. Here is a WW deck I just built: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=346648 , but you can find a few tokens I have built that may help. Good luck with the deck and your tournament play.

Fun deck! I started working on a R/W Human deck for Standard myself, but ended up making this deck instead: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=346648 ; I'd like to know what you think of it.

Thanks for the advice! I really like the addition of the Tragic Slips. Originally, I was using them in this deck but ended up letting a buddy play them in his. I currently have Dismember x2 in there, but I think I will go back to the Tragic Slips. I don't know how I feel about the Phyrexian mana : / I have also considered Sword of Mind and Body for sideboard, what do you think about that? I don't really care for the mill, but the protection and token creation seemed attractive. I am also debating between Nevermore and Surgical Extraction. Nevermore adds to the list of enchantments, and this deck draws enough enchantment hate at times. You have also made me regret selling my Sorin lol, so now I am on a mission to trade or buy for two of him. Thanks again for your advice, it helped a lot.

Cfybbdrummer, I have a question for you. How well does Sorin, Lord of Innistrad work in this deck for you? I just recently got back into Magic after about an 8 year absence, and I have been working on building this deck of yours for a few weeks. Last Friday I decided to remove the one Sorin I had, and make the deck mainly white, with only a splash of black for the flashback on Lingering Souls and the activation cost on Vault of the Archangel. This last FNM went horribly for me. I lacked the early game speed only having one Champion of the Parrish, and I felt that I was hurting due to a lack of spot removal. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have no advice to offer, as I just started playing Magic again after almost an 8 year break. I just wanted to say I really like the deck. Kudos.
