I keep forgetting Rancor's price. I own a set and it goes into almost every aggro deck I make without a second thought. Just did a quick search of gatherer. The 3 best options, imo, would be Unnatural Predation ($0,13e); Fists of Ironwood ($0,16e); or Horned Helm ($0,15e). Hope that helps.

Setessan Oathsworn is possibly the most broken heroic creature at its rarity and doesn't seem to see as much play as it deserves. Seeds of Strength would be awesome in here, but let's not forget Rancor for trample and Prey Upon for removal. Bioshift also make for a fun combat trick.
I got a question about the rules. In terms of the number of copies, what about cards that have prints at different levels? eg. Doom Blade is originally a common, but M14 bumped it up to an uncommon. eg.2 The original 5 planeswalkers are originally rares, but got bumped up to Mythic in every other print. Do we treat it the same way Pauper treats commons? ie If at any time it's printed as the lower rarity, it counts as that rarity for this format. And about the original 5 planeswalkers, I believe if the Mythic rarity existed when they were printed, they would have been printed as such. So, shouldn't they specifically be banned? I think it's a little unfair that they are allowed when the others aren't.
Kind of sad that Seething Song is banned in Modern :( Do you have enough draw? I think maybe adding one or two more Faithless Looting might be good. Yes, it has flashback, but I'd rather pay 1 than 3 for the dig (assuming Past in Flames hasn't been cast yet).
I know right. Been wanting to do a Boros landfall deck for Pauper, but my current Pauper project is Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond. Boros has to wait :|
You know what works nicely with Dust Drinker? Ghostly Prison :P And you're in luck, there's 4 white cards with the prison's effect: Ghostly Prison Windborn Muse Sphere of Safety Norn's Annex
2 Boros Garrison would work nicely in here :P
The name of the deck made me comment :P Agent of the Fates seems a little useless here, you don't have enough target to make it work properly. Dictate of Erebos would cover the role better in here. At 7 mana (of which 3 is solid green), Hornet Queen is a little too expensive. I'd take the queen out and bring Sedge Scorpion and Typhoid Rats up to 4x each. Lastly, 28 lands seems a little much. 24 max, or you'll waste turns just drawing lands.
That's the problem most combo decks have, either they hit or they miss. That's why I suggested Kiki-Jiki, it increases the chances to 'hit'.
Not an infinite combo, if it was, I would have tagged the deck so.
Running the Sprout Swarm secondary 'combo' doesn't leave much space for anything else :(
Interesting build. How does it run?
Naturalise is, more often than not, a sideboard card, so yes, put Rancor in its place.
No Rancor? Their M price is only $1.49 each, so not that expensive. Also, where's the Giant Growth?
You can never have enough Wolfir Silverheart. On multiple occasions, I've managed to bond two Silverhearts together, making them awesome 12/12's :P And that's while they were Standard legal. (Though, most of the time I won by bonding the Silverheart to Silverblade Paladin) On a more serious note, I'd probably take Kruin Outlaw down to 3x; add in a set of Reckless Waif (this one is a must); take Full Moon's Rise up to 4x; and maybe add about 3x Instigator Gang. You should be able to drop to 23 or 22 lands too (maybe drop 1 forest).
Huntmaster of the Fells and Immerwolf are not friends. Huntmaster wants to flip both ways as often as possible, Immerwolf stops him from doing that.
Well, I guess I'm lucky my group has yet to think about using it. Thanks for the warning.
A lot of most Modern decks' price rags are because of fetch lands and the Ravnica duels. That combo of lands can be done without in a lot of Modern decks, but there are a few that rely on it. Storm needs the lands out of the deck so as to draw into more nonlands when attempting to storm; and any deck with Tarmogoyf loves the land in the graveyard. The poor man's fetch lands are Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse. Sadly, this sets you back about 1 turn because it puts the land onto the battlefield tapped. I agree that defeating $500+ decks with a $20 is awesome. I do it quite often :P The elf deck I run in Modern costs about $100, but I only really payed for about 12 cards in it, and traded for the rest. Does that count as a 'cheap' deck? But look at me, I'm getting off topic. I got a question about Mentor of the Meek. I currently don't own any, so I can't test for myself, but is it really any help in here? Normally I'm sceptical about adding extra mana to an effect, even if the bonus is good. What I'm trying to ask is, is the extra 1 mana worth it? Doesn't it slow down the deck?
I'll address the land thing first. I'm using Evolving Wilds to thin the deck a bit by removing lands, much like Modern deck use the fetch lands, only I'm limited to commons only because my deck is for Pauper. The Modern build was just a mod of my pauper deck. I don't own any fetch lands :( Most people seem confused by Sprout Swarm's buyback cost, they don't realise that the convoke can be used on the buyback. Swarm is a little difficult to get an infinite combo off of, but the sheer number of times I cast it at the end of the opponent's turn is nothing to sneeze at. To go infinite with it, you need at least 4 creatures that untap as the Saproling it puts out can be used as the fifth creature for the convoke. Caution with the Gods Willing; if you choose the colour of the enchantment on the creature, it'll remove the enchantment from that creature.
It's out of colour here, but I've often lost to Somber Hoverguard in Pauper. Dude runs the Hoverguards and Auriok Sunchaser. I have NO flying defence and have to race him on damage, but then he just blocks with Frogmite and Carapace Forger :( [his deck is GWU with a splash of R for Galvanic Blast]
