negative she is WRB, this is a mono red dragon deck. besides she becomes a giant target when she hits the board... <.< no one in my area lets her live long.

oooooook first welcome to the game! its always good to hear and help a new person to this game since we all were at one point. next, i need to know. r u just makin this deck for fun?? personally, i like a mana ramping green deck. for that, rampant growth and harrow r two of the biggest cards u can have for a green mana ramper. next, a good assortment of creatures, i like using something like arbor elf, with llanowar elf, to help with my mana. then i like using something big like a leathback baloth. a big creature that can come out by turn 2 instead of turn 3. for a finisher, i would suggest getting my hands on a few copies of either Overrun, or u can get Overwhelming Stampeded to make ur creatures a giant threat for the win.
i have thought bout the falling star just watching that curve a lil. no one really likes to let Zirilan stay in play for very long. i probly should upgrade the deck list though. especialy with the new thundermaw hellkite. he could be fun in the deck. braids isnt as useful to me so thats not in. dragon storm is a great card yes, but not sure what i would take out to make room for it. but i will make a few changes to the deck.

ive never been either due to work... >.>.. but its basically a tourny scene for players at a local card shop. the small one we had in my town a few yrs ago did that but it was with what ever the owner felt like holding a tourny for...
yah that makes sense and yup ur right thats the lil guy. pretty awsome lil combo when u think about it. wonder if one could combine glacial chasm with something like form of the dragon. hmmm
not really thats just a matter of oppinion. to be honest i have both a jund EDH that uses tyrant of jund and i have this one as well. both work very good.
all sounds good but idk what to drop to add a few of them into the deck... any ideas ????
nah the sword wouldnt be reliable in this deck.
if he adds that then he should really think about addin the blue creature from alara to change it to a diff land so he doesnt lose that life every turn. idr what that creature's name is atm. but that is a fun idea.
plz let me know with some proof if u find it. from what i have been readin zirilan's ability would even trigger on ur end step too so thats y i dont have the dial.
i thought about a sac outlet but couldnt decide what cards i should use and which should come out for them. i have a scion EDH deck and its difficult to run. but when it sets up right its usualy a turn 5 or 6 instant win. thx feel free to check out any of my other decks.
well from what i have been reading, Zirilan's ability would just wait till the next end step when ever that would be. so if we were duelin, i use sundial to keep my pet alive, then at the end of ur turn i would still have to exile it.
glade to help ya out. i use goblins alot vs my lil bro and his elves sooooooo i know how to build my own version to take them down.
lol well ill check it out here soon. actualy the smaller single shot spells like shock r there to help eliminate problem creatures my area has. one of which being elvish piper... extreme dislike... as Jerod pointed out, the none basic lands r better for this deck over all. the faster i have the land out of the deck so to say, then the faster i can drop the card i need to win. even though really u can just search up moltensteel and do an insane amount of damage.
actualy if u check out the updated txt for him, they wont stay :(... they have changed it so say at the beginning of the next end step.. so i would need another one or voltic key to keep the sundial ready to use.
huh this is a pretty interesting build here. i like it, is somethin diff. and its a very odd take im sure it catches ppl off guard.

personaly, i would drop the fire feind and the shaman. u also need to focus the goblins a lil more especially since this is casual. goblin chieftain is a must of 4. just an insane goby when on the board. krenko's command would be great in here as well. no dont drop the dragon fodder. try to find a few of the battle cry gobys too. just another lil boost.
not a prob. if u need more info on legality of cards just go to magicthegathering.com and hit gather. u can type in any card and it will even tell u what play formats the card is legal to use. as much as i love that star he cant be in. he is actualy banned and being black cannot be in my deck here. i have thought about dstorm but its just a bulky card in the deck when i draw it at the wrong time. sure ill check it out. im good with gobs >:D
