haha im not sure ow to design one for modern or even extended XD u would have such a large card pool. where would anyone start?????????

its set up for rotation. i dont really need the giest or silver hearts. craterhoof is to make up for not having an overrun ability.

again good points fluff but, with both the ring and rancor in the deck u have to pick what to remove. and lets be real, that ooze hits the board, ur going to O-ring that over my ring or a rancor. that leaves anything else in the deck to get a small power boost. prey upon is good its y i have it in the sb, i like the surprise that gift gives me should i not have death touch already for my ooze. i am thinking of lowering gift and adding in some prey upon though just to balance it more. i am thinking of droppin one craterhoof for another tracker. thoughts?

hmm i like what ur tryin to do here. but the fable and captain dont really seem to fit here to me. i think some draw power, even a couple of divination, and maybe some counter spells could help. being post rotation its hard to make suggestions. hmm u know that new rat with deathtouch could be fun here. he is a nice 1 drop and fits ur theme here.

hmm i will have to think bout it see how it plays out. yah the ranger has the benefit of being another blocker but i like the speed i get with the elder. just a preference. lol.

haha thx i didnt think anyone would really like this deck that much to be honest. i kinda tossed it together and it works lol. i have most of the cards in this deck working on gettin more of the rare half though. >.>

u should totaly check out my Nayan Surge deck! its a very very tough stretch to get it to work right but its an interesting concept. lol.

yes it is a good card but, not my focus. the focus is my big bad ooze. now fluff does have some good arguments but look at my overall deck. im getting ready for rotation so its not as strong as it should be true. like i explained to fluff, the ring is to keep my ooze growing and the wilds actually do help.

fair arguments yes yes. but the gift is a key card in the deck. yes rancor is better than the ring but its all irellevent. my goal is to pump my destroy proof ooze and i wont need a trample effect when everything in my path is dead. the ring can keep him growing and the gift will give him a kill shot when i need one. the wilds actually works reallly really good. i had a similar thought as u, but after running them in my bro's stompy deck, its just crazy what he can do. he gets ahead very fast>.> i kinda regret tryin it in his deck...

nah ur fine bro, its critique that is needed to make a deck better. yah ill check it out soon no prob.

haha this is old XP. as awesome as battle hymn is, it doesnt go with the deck when u look at it as a whole. i dont need mana ramp so to say. hmm but i do have a deck im workin on for standard thats abuses battle hymn.

thx i have been wondering that myself. thinking of using the SB to make simple changes to the deck allowing it to run better, but i want to wait till rotation before i decide that much.

not a prob. i dont think honor the pure is good here. u have none white creatures soooooo thats kinda a dead card at times. for now, bc it will rotate out soon, i like using a couple copies of overrun in mine. just a little extra push when i need it. another O-ring would be good too. something fun to have in the sb is nevermore. i only have 2 atm, but i like to put them in after round 1 when i know the deck hahahaha >:D

well my first suggestions, try to get some of the duel lands and a few evolving wilds into the deck. i think parallel lives isnt needed in this deck though. i see y its here but for tourney play, its going to be too slow. try some gather the towns folk instead. also, something i use in my own human token deck is beat within. great for killing plainswalkers and those pesky enchantments. also a naturalize or 2 could help too. if nothing else in the SB.

i agree with what raginggoblin said. those changes he suggested will deff help the deck out. now there is murder to be included into the card pool.

well i believe u have an interesting concept here. only problem is, ur deck has too many pieces to its combo witch will make it hard to play. the more pieces the harder to hit it off and the easier to stop it.. i would say to limit it down to a max of 3 cards to just explode the deck.
