Yeah dawg, I know what you mean. I was sooo pissed when they banned Griselbro right after I spent the money to put together my own EDH deck with him. Check it out here, if you'd like:

Anyways, I really like your deck. Cards like Necropotence, Reanimate, Demonic Tutor, and Sheoldred are among my favorite cards ever printed. Monoblack EDH for the win!

Oh, and you should probably replace Sorin Markov with Contagion Engine, unless he's there for the flavor. lol

I would suggest the following:

-3 Rendclaw Trow (Not a terribly high quality card)
-1 Dark Ritual (To make room for Vow of Flight)

+4 Vow of Flight (To keep your opponents fighting each other indefinitely)

If you don't like Murder, you could always use Dismember.

I was referring to the reasons you cited for keeping the Neko-Te and Assassinate cards.

Tamiyo is one card, you should lose the focus on the whole tapping aspect.

Yeah, I forgot that it doesn't have to be a permanent for cascade to work. You better hope the other player is not playing control because this deck will have abysmal card advantage.

A zero card deck? It's genius!

-2 Neko-Te (Inferior quality than Quietus Spike)
-1 Shuriken (Bad all-around quality card)
-1 Walker of Secret Ways (Mistblade Shinobi is generally far more useful)
-2 Assassinate (Strictly lower quality than Murder)
-3 Dimir Infiltrator (Inferior quality than Ornithopter)
-1 Whispersilk Cloak (Costs too much to re-equip all the time)
-2 Gigadrowse (Removal of two Assassinate spells makes this less useful)

+4 Quietus Spike (This card is strongest the earlier its used, so you need four)
+3 Mistblade Shinobi (One of the greatest ninja in the game)
+2 Ornithopter (Brings the Mistblade Shinobi out on turn 2, locking opponent down)
+1 Throat Slitter (Offers more card advantage than Assassinate)
+2 Murder (Strictly higher quality than Assassinate)

Your cascade spells will not work at all in this deck. You have no nonland permanents less than CMC 3.

Oh, I forgot to mention you should remove one Plains card and add one Serra Sanctum.

Below are the changes I would make to this deck:

-1 Konda's Banner (Kusari-Gama is better because it's not legendary)
-1 Tenza, Godo's Maul (Kusari-Gama is better because it's not legendary)
-2 Bushi Tenderfoot (He becomes legendary; that is a big weakness)
-1 Sensei Golden-Tail (All your guys are already samurai; makes no sense in a samurai tribal)
-1 Kentaro, the Smiling Cat (You have only two colors to work with)
-1 Sacred Foundry (Weaker card than Arid Mesa)
-3 Hold the Line (To make room for Lightning Helix)

+2 Kusari-Gama (Because it is sooo nasty)
+2 Devoted Retainer (To replace Bushi Tenderfoot)
+4 Lightning Helix (To add removal and healing)
+1 Arid Mesa (Better than Sacred Foundry)
+1 Call to Glory (Awesome tribal spell)

I like the added proliferation. It still seems hard to negate your "enter the battlefield effects". I would add two more Stifle spells and remove two Denizens of the Deep creatures.

Below are the changes I would make to this deck:

-1 Pattern of Rebirth (Not enough of a quality card; doesn't work when you want it to work)
-1 Cliffrunner Behemoth (Weaker than Primeval Titan)
-3 Wooly Thoctar (Weaker than Primeval Titan)
-2 Rancor (To make room for more mana ramping)

+1 Mul Daya Channelers (To combo with the Elixir)
+1 Thousand-Year Elixir (Because it's awesome and you want it every game)
+2 Knotvine Mystic (To combo with the Elixir)
+3 Primeval Titan (Because fuck this creature)

Below are the changes I would make to the deck:

-2 Forbidding Watchtower (Doesn't count as Plains)
-2 Sejiri Steppe (Doesn't count as Plains)
-1 Land Tax (Dunno, I just like Endless Horizons better; don't have to rely on enemy's land count)
-2 Spirit Mantle (Because Eldrazi Conscription is a much better alternative)
-2 Prison Term (Don't need so many because you can shift it around)

+4 Mistveil Plains (Because it counts as a Plains for Emeria, the Sky Ruin and Armored Ascension)
+1 Auratouched Mage (To combo with Mistveil Plains)
+2 Sigil of the New Dawn (To combo with Tragic Poet and any other creature)
+1 Endless Horizons (Thins the deck and allows you to search for Mistveil Plains)
+1 Armored Ascension (To combo with Mistveil Plains)

You need more land than you do Dingus Eggs, is my point.

Ah, of course. Must not have read that card carefully.

Okay, so I would suggest replacing the Wren's Run with the Harbinger, then.

I just realized that, this being a control deck, is severely low on lands.

Hmmm, you may have to cut some strategies to add more lands. I suggest the following (in addition to all my previous suggestions):

-2 Dingus Egg
-1 Dwarven Driller

+3 Lands of your choice
