thats fine and all, just people appreciate it when you ask first, or at least say you like the idea and would like to make your own. we tend to like that

did you not see kazzong's post?
which is exactly why i downvoted the comment
shocklands wont help me here. i only need islands since most of the deck is blue
for 1, look at paradise mantle. 2, adding in those cards will defeat the purpose of this deck. it designed to draw cards, not stack my draws
i typically only ever need 20 lands with such a low curve. if the curve of the deck is higher than i will add more land
and as for aurelia's fury, if i can get out just the land i need to cast it, then im golder. i can use it to target each of my creatures as well, only dealing 1 to them, but triggering their heroic in the process. that way, even if they have no counters on them, they will get 1 when targeted and therefore not die when the spell resolves. then i can just do what i most likely would use the leftover targets and maybe any leftover mana to pump the spell more and deal extra damage to things on my opponent's field. either way, im not taking out aurelia's fury. it is too good for this deck to NOT include it
weapon surge and teleportal may not give triggers when overloaded, but they provide flexibility. they can target if i need them to, or i can use them to get every creature at once. basically, if i overload a spell, its because i wont need the triggers.
except jace is almost $100 a pop. thats a tad much for just 1 card to me
paradise mantle guys. tap him and have an extra mana to use for his activation
nice one. glad to hear it
no problem with autocorrect. typed it into notepad to make sure. yeah as haphazard as the deck looks, it runs amazingly well. lots of special summoning, and banishing (exiling), only to pull the stuff right back into play
sorry i meant plaxcaster frogling, not hydropon. and considering how expensive jace is, i wont be getting one anytime soon
simic charm isnt meant to trigger sage. thats what the ring and vigean hydropon are for
Ok guys, this is a really, really long post because of how the deck is built. Hate it all you like though, the sucker works like a dream. I have recently purchased the Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon deck and plan to incorporate parts of it into the deck here soon. guys on turn 1 my dragons can have blue eyes shining and blue eyes ultimate both out with five headed dragon 2 turns away. Thats not something to shake a stick at
I actually dont need it. I can special summon all but 2 creatures in the deck. Several all at once in some cases. The deck has at least one of every card that keys off of or is a member of the blues eyes and red eyes dragon lineage, not to mention all the armed dragons and horus lineage, plus some of the most OP (and in some cases banned) dragons ever to grace the game, including but not limited to Chaos Emperor Dragon, Montage Dragon, and Gandora the Dragon of Destruction. If it were a magic deck, it would be R/W/B because while the creatures are nasty, the spells and traps are even nastier. I will post the full decklist after i get off of work today so you all can weigh in on it
the only downside is that i stopped playing shortly after synchro monsters came out, so it is severely outdated. i doubt it would be able to maintain its record unless i give it a major overhaul
if i could somehow port my yugioh dragon deck over to a magic equivalent, then i would be the happiest person ever. i began playing yugioh back in 98 and i played for a several years. during that time i built what is hands down the best deck ive ever made. to date, it has never lost a match. only one person has ever played it twice, and he regretted it when after a few turns i dropped a Blue Eyes, Horus Lv8, and Armed Dragon Lv10 at the same time, wiped his whole field, and swung for game. my friends refused to play it, not even in a multiplayer match. it is too damn powerful for its own good. it also had a knack of getting revenge on people who killed one of my dragons. i used to warn people who wanted to play it to not kill any of the dragons or else a bigger one would drop in and kill them in retaliation. without fail, someone would kill one of my dragons, only to have an even nastier dragon swoop in and just wreck their entire game plan. the hilarious part is that the average star level is 7
just run an enchant heavy heroic build and you would be set
