This deck was inspired by Gerard Fabiano's deck that recently won the SCG Open in Baltimore. It has been tweaked to be a little more aggro via Delvers, but can switch at a moments noticed to a mid-range control deck. I hope you all enjoy!
This is a controlled aggro to midrange deck. The goal is to apply early pressure with cheap threats, then have counters and control elements such as hand or board disruption to stop whatever your opponent might be doing. The aspect that I most focused on was the ability to only need to tap a few resources to deploy a threat so that you can still keep up removal or countermagic while applying pressure. Most of the cards are good at any phase of the game, so instead of having one explosive turn, the goal is to harness a fluid series of plays throughout the game.
