Kaalia deck designed for edh multiplayer with a re-animator element. Does not run mass land destruction or master of cruelties.Originally ran tariel as the commander until I realised that, more often than not, Tariel did not get cast.One of the things I really like about this deck is the number of little combos that keep coming out, I'm still finding more as I play.
Although the commander is Kaalia, she is very much secondary to the game plan. If I can get a big beater down early, great, otherwise the deck ramps quite nicely into big angels, demons and dragons which keep coming back for eventual beatdown win.Notable Synergies:Reveillark+karmic guide+any creature - Difficult to remove, used to be more effective with altar of dementia, but this has been removed.Solemn Simularcum + Volrath's Stronghold - Allows for a lot of ramp as in response to the draw trigger from solemn being put in the graveyard, you can put it back on top of your library with volrath's stronghold.Sunforger + Mistveil planes + Any two white creatures (ie Kaalia and any angel) - This effectively allows you to play any CMC 4 or less instant in your graveyard for RWW every round. May not sound like much, but highly effective if your opponent is trying to boardwipe (boros charm) or for recurring removal. Sunforger can also find any of these cards in your library initially.Buried Alive+Anger - Gives everything haste, very important in this deck.Tempted to cut:Stronghold Overseer - Initially put in to protect Kaalia, has not really seen use at all as Kaalia is secondary to the main game plan.
