I was slightly mistaken. Although I do really like Redirect (for this deck, and just in general) I forgot that most/all of AVR's flicker effects specify "you(r) control". So, for instance, you couldn't Redirect my flicker effect to one of your creatures. And if somehow you were able to, it'd probably come back under my control. My bad.

But still, changing Cloudshift from a soulbond creature to a token is pretty cool :)

I'm with you on Bonfire, enel. Gut Shot and Mana Leak are good, but they can only take you so far.

As far as your sideboard, I might suggest Redirect. I'll admit it's a bit situational (though I guess that's what the sideboard is for, haha), but it gives you something else to protect your creatures. Plus, with all the flickering we might see, you could steal someone else's Ghostly or Cloudshift.

Pretty cool deck.

Have you though about using Cloudshift? Good way to deal w/ removal spells and would combo nicely w/ both Champions.

Thank you!
I like Latch Seeker too. Though because of Adaptive Automaton and Mass Appeal, I'm trying to stick w/ Humans.

Thanks for checking out my soulbond deck!

I like the idea behind this deck, and it looks pretty solid too. Have you considered putting Zealous Conscripts in at all? I know it costs a little more, but it would combo well with your flicker effects, and you could grab any permenant, not just creatures. Just a thought.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you! That's a good idea, but I want to keep this Standard, for now atleast. I was thinking of changing out Liege for something else though. The two I had in mind were either Engulfing Slagwurm or Bellowing Tanglewurm. Opinions?

I see you don't have any black duel lands, are you not planning on flashing back Lingering Souls?

If I decide to do a token spell (which isn't a bad idea at all), then I'm going to use Lingering Souls (splashing black would be easy, 3 dual lands to choose from) :)
I'm on a pretty strict budget though so I probably won't alter it too much (will take me atleast a month to get 4x Reavers, :( )

Have you thought about maybe trading in some of those basic lands for some duel lands with black, or is the one swamp and an emissary enough to handle 4x Unburial Rites, 4x Forbidden Alchemy flashbacks, and 3x Dismembers (though I do understand you don't actually need any Swamps to cast Dismember)?

Are the Massacre Wurms necessary? Maybe drop them for a couple Golem Artisans. Similar thought with those Equipment. Maybe some smaller creatures or mana help (mana producing spells/creatures, or just land). And if you're feel adventerous...Precursor Golem? =D
