Interesting choice with Smother, but otherwise a solid Junk. I especially like the use of L.S. =]

I chose smother over gftt because affinity is a very real deck, and smother hits all the relevant threats in modern, besides iona and what not, but there's pte for that (: And if they name white, maelstrum pulse :'D

i dropped the skuller and dryad arbor for 2 zealous persecution, because they're just ridiculous o.o

ZP is ridiculous haha. What about using Dismember or Victim of Night? Dismember is always a sexy stand-by, and VoN kills about 94% of all creatures (It kills 5,990 out of 6,344 creatures...yes I'm a nerd).

dismember seems as though it would kill less than smother :O i mean smother kills bob, knight, goyf, delver, snapcaster. clique, hawk, any token - it kills everything I feel is relevant, even deceiver exarch and pestermite :O
plus dismember kind of hurts me, in the sense that this deck is fairly suicidal - fetches, thoughtseize and bob :O thats why i swapped out elspeth for sorin (:
and the double black on victim makes it less appealing to me :(

Hrm...Good point. Plus, it's one of the very few things that can actually kill Tidehollow (turns out that dude is REALLY hard to get rid of =P)

I caved... bought 3 goyf. D: It was a deal, I had to.

But, surprisingly enough, now this deck is amazing. <3 I love it.

Only one Thrun? Not sure if wanting to minimize mana curve, or just don't think he's worth taking another slot.

Neat deck man, and definitely looks like a headache for a lot of things to deal with.

minimize mana curve D: with bobs I try and be really careful. :/
Thanks man (: it's only real problem is like, bigger aggro. Like, weenies aren't a problem, but actual haste-based strategies are hard.

I'm guessing that being the reason your buddy Kyle runs haste-aggro, I can dig it.
Weenie strategies are really good in Modern, but I haven't seem anybody really optimize it for the current meta right now, myself included :| WW would be "totes deece" if it had a better way to deal with Zoo than just Firewalkers.

I'm not sure what manner of big aggro you're dealing with, but what I usually do is just plop in Tombstalkers if I feel I need to race in Dirt. Yeah it's risky with Bob, but I've always seen the reward with it.

he seems really anti synergetic, though. I mean, if I remove lands my knights get worse, and if i remove souls that's just lame haha.

if anything, I feel baneslayer would be cool, but I'm too scared of bob haha.
and by big body, I mean like, bigger than 1 toughness. like black zombies or ww.

overall I love the deck, and it's definitely been worth the investment. :)

I don't know how I feel about your definition of big bodies.

Tombstalker is a big risk, I won't lie, but it IS a four turn clock by itself once it starts swinging, and drops early. I can understand not wanting to remove souls, but you're only running two KotR's. It's a trade, just like snaps and lavamancers.
Baneslayer is probably the next best option.

Glad the deck is working for you man, it looks like a ton of fun.

And here we see Ethan experience his newest lesson on his way to being a top class Legacy player =D

What you have, right there, is called a power balance. Junk and Dirt seems to have to do it more often other things, but it's something that you'll have to work with eventually. Think of it as a strange kind of see-saw...you take away from one thing to throw the balance off to another. So there lies the skill: Can you best determine when is the right time to shift the power balance to the other side? I bet you can =P

And while WnB mentions one example with Snappy and Lavamancer, another one that I was recently asked about actually is Lake of the Dead and Cabal Coffers.

Well, I mean, it's only really the 'bigger body' aggro match ups that can hurt me. Like, doran, for example, is slightly tougher than say caw blade, or delver. I feel like if I gave up Bob just to help out one matchup, it's not really worth it. Most of the format is delver, and having Bob in there to help me out vs those, as opposed to removing him for decks which aren't as common, seems a bit counter-productive.

I actually might try Doran, though. Spellskite + doran = hilarity.

Nobody said anything about ditching Bob, I run Tombstalker AND Bob. Just view it like Barney Stinson would, you're challenged to kill the opponent before Bob kills you(Challenge accepted!)

Doran is a whole different world than Zombies or WW, Doran decks are actually pretty hefty. I was thinking you meant even Delver, so I was kinda sketchy on that one.
Doran with Spellskite is shenanigans, I've been on the other end, and I have lost :|

Bob and tombstalker are wayyy too ballsdeep together for me :/ I like being able to go into the tank, knowing that my draw cannot kill me if I'm at 4 life, no matter what. But with tombstalker, that's a gamble.

and I actually picked up a playset after I saw spellskite in a list.. like.. THAT'S SO GOOD!

That will be the next deck I attempt to break, haha. Skinshifter is so good in it, too... 0/8... WHUDDUP?
