yes it works as a red permanent since it's a colored artifact, red being one of the colors

I decided against the crabs/ramp just to strengthen the fog more and ensure a better hand.

Throw in Deathmark's on the sideboard. Looks good though, Disfigures would be a strong addition though, I agree with with Puffer. still a +1

If you could check out my new Standard Jund Wildspeaker deck that would be great :)

Why wouldn't you run Goblin Guides in a Goblin deck...? 1 drop 2 haste... Ya they might get a land oh no! if not then you get to see what's coming up on their turn... surprises are a magic player's worst enemy.

I think that I especially like the fact that you used the combo described in Helm of Obedience's rules script on magiccards.info hahaha

With the Sprouting Thrinax I decided to instead go slightly less cliche'd Jund and use Madrush Cyclops since you don't see him in as many decks as I would like, and so played around between the Cyclops and Broodmate and ended up not having room for him :/ I would love to use Sarkhan's but I can't find any to get my hands on... Sad day... Thanks everybody!

I love this deck Kdeep. It's a beautiful synergy between the two cards Bloodchief Ascension and Archive Trap, and I love the damage boost with Pyromancer's Ascension. Very well put together.

If you want to keep the blue cards (tome scour would be nice in here): My opinion on the land problem you're talking about is using all the non-tapped lands but put in some Crumbling Necropolises - it comes tapped but then you have all three colors. Just an option I do like your updated B/R version though. :)

+1 for sure.

I have been considering some Hedron Crabs as another solid 1 drop that helps with card adantage, and I really do like the Gwafa idea a lot and will definitely test it out some :) Thanks!

This is just an idea if you wanted to try and test it out. My haste deck was Jund and I really enjoyed the black splash into it, allowing for Terminates, Lightning Reavers (EXCELLENT card to couple with Quest for Pure Flame, adding 2 counters a turn) and Bituminous blast's into bloodbraid into ball lightning is just one of the most amazing plays to go out on. Like I said, just a thought :) Just a splash is all thats necessary, but it works best only if you use the proper dual lands to cover Ball LIghtning's specific mana :P

+1 for sure :)

Originally Luminarch's were the second win condition haha, and now it just depends on the draw whether that game will win through Mill, or through Luminarch Ascension :)
