Druid's deliverance might also be a good card for this deck as it not only prevents damage it also has populate. I know its not a budget deck but if anyone cares to have a look http://www.mtgvault.com/fierceblood/decks/rise-of-the-wolflord-2/

Your deck is definitely more diverse than mine and looking at it has given me ideas for my own. not sure but I think a good burn deck might potentially wreak havoc on your mana supply as alot of it is creature based. Might consider adding or even just sideboarding a couple Archetype of Endurance. Overall though I find this deck very intriguing would love to know how it plays out once you have it built.

Very interesting deck, never really used defender creatures much myself. Looking at this deck however new ideas are forming.

Thanks for the advice. Brains already working on a few more changes which I think will enhance deck synergy.

This is definitely my first crack at an EDH deck. This was originally a Golgari deck from the duel decks set, that I had modified for regular multiplayer. Took me quite awhile to make it what you see now. I'm glad you liked it. Your input was most well recieved.

Putrefy should have been a no brainer it was in the original Golgari deck.

I see what you mean about Phyrexian Obliterator I was thinking wicked card, holy crap only four mana to cast, hadn't considered the fact that it was all black mana. Took me awhile to figure out a replacement but I ultimately settled for Creakwood Liege. Which I think fits in the deck much better. So good call on that.

I had put some limited thought into making Vorosh unblockable. using Thassa's ability and Sleep but it never hurts to have more options. Dark Betrayal's limiting condition made it an easy choice to replace with Artful Dodge. and I also replaced Golgari germination with Aqueous Form.

Awesome article it really helped me with some critical decisions. I just finished creating my first commander deck using Vorosh, the Hunter as commander, wouldn't mind some feedback/suggestions if anyone cares to check it out. Also if your playing with green check out defense of the heart.
