I've been running something similar to this and threw in a couple of Whispering Madness, Reliquary towers and a Lab Maniac just in case!

How did adding those cards work out for you? I'm not sure I can fit them in myself but I think I'll have to try

Seems to work out pretty well most of the time, it just seems to give me a few more options depending on what others are playing. That being said I'm usually playing constructed with 4 or 5 other people so I'm not really sure how it works playing heads up.

You want to really play someone's deck for them? Nightveil Spectre's give you access to the top card of their library and lets you cast whatever you find. Mana Confluence will allow you access to their colors for easier access to their cards. Cyclonic Rifts let you stuff their hands full of goodies for your Psychic Intrusion to collect. Domestication gives you access to their creatures, but it's a bit inaccurate. Those are my thoughts, anyway.

Post script; This isn't a serious suggestion, but could you please try Reap Intellect? I love that damnable card. It just makes me warm and gooey, the thought of casting it after a Cyclonic Rift overload on their end step.

Grave Betrayal. Every time one of their cards dies, it hits your field. If you really wanna mess with them, grave pact makes an excellent trading system with grave betrayal. Especially in multiplayer format.

Another card I like to use a lot is Knowledge Pool. If you put knowledge pool in a deck, all you need are pointless low drop cards to take all the good cards from your opponent's deck (or decks in multiplayer). Makes an excellent trade off, so long as you don't plan on casting any good cards for the rest of the game.

Also, this combo can be a tad mana expensive, and definitely not an early game combo, but i like it all the same:
Start with an unblockable card (I suggest invisible stalker, but that's just for the hexproof). Don't worry bout him for a little bit. Next, play liquimetal coating. Ignore till you get master thief. Use it to turn something into an artifact, then play master thief to take it. So long as master thief stays alive, you keep your card. This is the tricky part, and one I enjoy maybe too much. Use liquimetal coating again, then use a card called Stolen Identity to copy master thief and take it. Cipher to Invisible Stalker. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Those are great suggestions for multiplayer I'll have to try that! However this is a standard deck as it stands so those cards would be illegal for me to play with !

Oh, sorry, I didn't see that. I don't usually play standard, so when i think of broken combos, i just tend to pounce... Sorry bout that.
