Then someone needs to update the definition, because that is offensive in my opinion just to say I'm there to win. Most people get a thrill from winning sure, but that isn't the reason that all my friends play.

That is an incorrect definition of Spike. A Competitive deck, referred to as spike sometimes, do NOT have to be aggro but can be any sort of deck, midrange, aggro or control, they do not lack kill spells or late game cards but vary from deck to deck, it is for sure not everything or nothing. Spike playing is the most interesting way of playing magic because its too people mentally battling it out with tonnes more ways, yet still having tonnes of fun in the more relaxed moments.
But Northy, U have to say your sex ;) I got a new skype btw, so feel free to add it: [email protected]
Elf, 2 pump and mutagenic growth- turn 2 kill in every single infect deck, I've played infect for over a year xD
Butterman, I'm kinda offended that you thank Northy (props to you though mate for taki the time and building it for a new player) and not me when I took time to brew you a deck which I would endorse for a GP and is pretty cheap
I'm sure, but the U/G statistically hits harder and is more reliable
Why R/G and not U/G? thanks tho
Really? I always trade first and then do games so we can enjoy and test the new cards
Well they probably make more from standard because of rotation
Ive actually written an article on this, its 'Brainstorming: Time of Control' Most impotant is try and avoid tapping out unless its end of their turn and their tapped out
Butterman, check your decks, I posted a link to one I built for you
Oh I agree, I don't play magic online because it isn't very good and you don't really get to interact with thecommunity, but if you want to play vintage, its somewhere you can actually do it
There are proper vintage tournaments, I just think the best home for vintage is online, and Wizards are fully supportive of online vintage so I guess its just shifted
Vintage never dies, I think that's the point of vintage! I think its a bit too expensive for most people, even though once the investment is made then you never need to buy a new deck
Spouts is a bit slow, 5 mana wraths have almost always been to slow, that's why control died for Khans FTR, if anything, Supreme Verdict
Ye I'll put it in :)
Ye I was reading that illness was a good counter, I'll make some edits
