Deck Description

This is my attempt at a zombie EDH deck and since The Mindrazor had not been made yet and I just really didn't like the Traitor King, I chose my buddy Thrax. And whoo-boy has this deck just been a blast to use. The general is big and mean and not afraid of the pit-stop known as the graveyard.

How to Play

In a > 1v1 setting you might as well be wearing the warning sign "does not play well with others". Thrax is a big and mean bully of a general with plenty of cronies to make people know what's up even when he's not there.

The main goal of the deck is to pick one person at the table and cram as much general damage down their throat as possible.

Deck discussion for Thrax, Paint the Town Red WIP

Especially in a three color deck Chromatic Lantern is going to be a much better card than Obelisk or Borderpost. I'd replace one with Chromatic Lantern and the other with Orzhov Signet if you want that many mana rocks. In three color Felwar Stone tends to be solid, too, as does Exotic Orchard for a land.

Terminate and Dreadbore (or even Murder) seem superior to Doom Blade.

TY for the advice, there was a Chromatic lantern to go in the deck, But I need to find it first. . . but as far as other (better) kill cards I will definitely be adding them when I get the opportunity. As with all of my edh decks, it is a constant work in progress.

Whoah! Another great example of EDH-deck that is well done!
I'm can't any card to suggest other than those two charms, Crosis's Charm and Grixis Charm, since having many possibilities is key to victory in EDH.

Damn I like Thraximundar. Such a cool card.

Ty for the suggestions, if I can get my hands on them I will definitely try and test run them.

I did make a "budget" deck for a format my friends made that I would like your opinion on.
