Ahh, always the problem. If I may recommend mental misstep instead of slaughter pact and surgical extraction instead of inquisition of kozilek. Paying life for those spells just gives you more options than have to pay B and having to pay 2B the turn after slowing down that next turn.As far as lands go, unless you're really going to be using this for tier 2 to tier 1 play, you don't need fetch lands. I know they're all the rage, but especially with this deck, I promise you don't need them. I've seen a 13/14 nivmagus with assault strobe coming at me on turn 2 before, without any fetch lands. At the end of the day these are only recommendations.

Well you've done it right, why so unloved?
I love decks like this, I have a couple blink decks myself. Why so unloved on this one? This one is really similar to your deck, although I don't have as much control as you do.http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/venser-the-living-flicker/This one is newer and doesn't really have as much blink potential, but it does wonders with siege rhino.http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/reactory-factory/
After quite a long time...I've finally built it...it's quite different from when you last saw it..but I had some extra money (thank you taxes!) And this is what I now have...there's a bazillion combos in here now. It's hilarious.
Ahh vault skirge is always good, I think he'll go into the SB for now..I would like to eventualy add in spellskite, buying them one at a time obviously...I definitely have to rework this deck soon.Updates will come! Thanks for looking!!!
Yooooo MoC been busy for a while and trying to get back in touch with everyone...let me invite you to see a deck I'm having trouble with, mind you I'm trying to stick with block only...but if you have any advice at all it would be greatly appreciated, and be sure to leave a link to a deck you're working on too!!!http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/hazardous-material/
Damm this deck is solid. Have you play tested it / do you own it?+1 BTW lol
http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/hatred-on-a-budget/And if you feel up to it this is another rather serious deck that I currently play
I'm also really bad with getting carried away with comments lol
Lol may all be blessed by the top deck gods, especially you!!! But...Aaaahhhhh so much information and all of its good!! Um where to start? Vexing devil can go away, he's big for cheap and CAN have a big impact, but overall idk...as far as elixir goes...I love having all the life gain on earth AND being able to shuffle my graveyard back into the library stops me from milling myself to death (being that I play mainly multilayer irl it comes in handy because games last soooo much longer)..maelstrom wanderer is the namesake for the deck and my inspiration, with him being a big threat he's likely to get knocked out so I fear I have to keep three of him...as far as which spells I want to cascade and which ones I dont...that was kinda the underlying theme of the deck is that no matter what I happen to cascade, it will help me out...the only one I have an issue with is rampant growth, but it's soooo necessary early game for me to be able to play maelstrom wanderer in time along with having the right land to keep my etherium horn sorcerers in my hand as much as possible...at the end of the day I'd like to have as little card stacking abilities as possible, they're really helpful but I'm a poor planner:( lol As you said at the end of the day the deck is for fun and for fun it shall stay, buuuut on the same note I hope to have a sideboard that will make it competitive, and on that day to you I will come.Ending notes are...I need to find a replacement for Vexing devil...primal command fucking rocks no matter what the circumstances...brainstorm and augury owl are serious contenders now...and Liliana is always awesome forever.Thank you soooo much for taking a look at this deck for me...and as a special gift...here is my competitive deck I'm toying with now....http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/hazardous-material/It's the only deck I have thats not public;)
Hahaha don't worry about it!! Vault has been doing the whole woops something went wrong...but the comment posted anyway lol
This deck looks like it's sooooo much fun to play! It seems like you know what you're doing with cascade, could you take a look at mine and tell me what you think? There's a couple cards in there I'm unsure about but I don't want to tell you what I think they are, preconceptions and such...http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/into-the-maelstrom/
Check out my newest deck if you have a chance, there's a couple things in there I'm really unsure about...http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/into-the-maelstrom/
Hah! I love it! Nicely put together. Definite +1 from me.
Thanks! I do like that combo, but for it to be really useful the whole deck needs to be built around it. The way this one is now is absolutely perfect for big multiplayer games....because why not have 4 blightsteel colossus? Haha
I'm with Gothy on this one, don't work too hard!!!We'll all anxiously await the return of the great Northy!!Good luck brother!
Awesome suggestions! I'm gonna try to keep the budget as low as I can but I'll see what I can do about putting some more defense in here.
Haha couch, have you seen my elementals deck?http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/elemental-storm/Uncle you need to check it out too. May give you some help in deciding what you'd like to keep.+1 so far!
Thank you! Take a look at this one, I believe it's ready for some criticism...http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/just-walk-away/
