Don't worry I have the exact same issue with one of my decks.
http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/this-is-only-a-test/

It's a lot of fun with 3 or more people...otherwise I have a big bulls-eye on my forehead most of the game.
I love decks like this though, more possibilities=more fun.

I really do miss having a lot of friends around who all play. Multiplayer is always so much more fun. If/When I get a good group to play with I'll definitely come ask for some advice if you don't mind.

Definite +1 from me.

HAHAHA nice. Quite often I've found myself in that kind of situation, the other guy sits there and says "say go" and I let them know I'll say it when I damn well please...and then I just never say it hehe

Godo job though The_MoC!

Mind=Blown. Jessie you consistently impress me. Very well written my friend.

Score for the day
A - 1
B - 2
C - all 4
Happy to be a Johnny any day.
Thanks for the great articles too! I'll have to see about Melvin and Vorthos in a bit!

Yeah I get what you mean. One thing you'll learn after you play a lot is that you don't really have to balance the colors at all, the whole reason for adding other colors is to compensate for when one color lets up, black has superior card control and can take away a lot of life that way, but for that last three life standing between you and victory a good ol lightning bolt is perfect, don't give up on that plan, just revisit it in a little bit.

That sounds pretty legit. Do you have that one up here?

Also maybe think about curtain of light for this deck..it'd put an extra lock for that rogue creature that your opponent somehow manages to play

Liliana's caress is brutal. I've never actually built a deck that's focused around killing by discarding so I'm a little rusty on what cards work best...but you've got it. Hahaha I'd hate to have to play against this one, all my irl decks are either midrange-control or aggro-combo...and you'll beat me almost every time with this

He is pretty terrifying, but his parameters are strict, if you think it could work I'd say go for it haha it'd be a good addition to this deck for sure. I'd recommend play testing a bit before actually putting that into action, you may just lock down your opponent so much with all the discard that they just can't do anything anyway haha

Ah good point about standard, I guess I neglected that lol

Since that's the case I'd say this deck looks pretty complete.

Dawn charm is perfect for that, use it at the right moment and you'll have the upper hand. As you know, mill decks are all about momentum, if you can stop that then you win.

Hah! I haven't seen a trickery charm in FOREVER! It's just a brilliant card. Now knowing that you like trickery charm, I don't think that you can play anything else hahaha

...in fact, unless I'm playing a similar deck, knowing full well what your deck does, I'd say the game would be decided on who goes first hahaha

For the spells you use as creature destruction I will always suggest you keep 3-4 of them, just a reliability kinda thing..
But seriously, solid deck, I'd hate to be the aggro deck trying to bear down against this. Anything aside of a really well built midrange-control deck would have one hell of a hard time squaring up against you. I'd scoop turn 4 once I realized I just don't stand a chance.

This deck is brutal. Nicely done.
I'm looking for ideas for a deck I just made and I may use some of these. Thanks for the inspiration!

My only word of caution here is to not use ponder. It's a really good spell if you have a lot of "shufflers" in your deck but you only have scry, for instance, say the top three cards are lands...it's not a good feeling lol maybe replace it with something like distortion strike or artful dodge? That's just my initial impression, but I could be wrong.

Between this one and the extort control deck I just looked at I don't really think there's much of a choice to be made. I'd buy this one in a heartbeat.

Shiiiiiit this deck is only 4.06 at the cheapest hahahaha nicely done!!! This deck also just looks brutal. I loooove blind obedience.
My only suggestion would be to do exactly what you did..maybe put dawn charm in place of orzhov charm...maybe...

This deck looks really well put together though. Definite +1 here.

I LOVE breaking point haha nobody ever lets you wipe the field if they can stop it. Definitely goes in the SB alongside mizzium mortars for those decks that pump out the tokens. Nice suggestion!

Dash hopes is one of my all time favorite black spells, along with duress, blightning, and molten influence there's really not much that can be done.

And everyone thinks blue is control...buahaha!
