Looks great man! And your mana curve isnt bad at all and its sitting at a 2.86 which is super fast. I dont know about some of the creatures your running but i guess your just running tribal theme for each color? My friends jenara deck is enter the battlefield triggers and uses jenara as a back up, but if the tribal stuff seams to be working stick with it. Also you have Naturalize in their twice; just slip in Nature's Claim in one of the slots.

Looks good for a first one but could definitely use some clean up. Theres better enchantments other than Curiosity. I would run Phyrexian Arena, Graveborn Muse, and depending on your mana curve Bloodgift Demon. All of them do the same thing and the life loss is almost always worth the card draw.

Also your running a good bit of mana rocks which is awesome, but i would drop your Fieldmist Borderpost for a Darksteel Ingot.

Since your running more blue than any other color i would drop the number of swamps and plains and add more islands. Also if budget isnt an issue theres a list of better lands such as the duels, shocks, and pain lands with fetches and what not, but if it is i would add some cheaper stuff like Esper Panorama, Terramorphic Expanse, Arcane Sanctum, and Tainted Field.

I would also recommending ditching Mind Control for Control Magic; one mana cheaper and does the same thing.

Hope this helps, and just keep working with it and weeding out what you don't like.

Joiner Adept and Prismatic Omen are other suggestions. You already have the Chromatic Lantern listed above so as far as I can see your good.

Meteor Crater, Tainted Peak, Tainted Wood. Some easy suggestions.

So when i ran skullbriar i did the same as you with the unblockable via swampwalk and the boots, but somtimes its still a pain to land damage. So i would suggest you trough in some trample stuff like brawn, rancor, primal rage, maybe some triumph of the hordes/overrun/overwhelming stampede. you already have garruks' ultimate. Personally wouldnt worry about having equipment since you know our playgroup is heavy artifact removal. Would heavily recommend that you put in a plan b route; possibly a zombs horde win.

Ive got a Niv Mizzet deck myself, and I was just wondering what the win condition of yours was? I mean sure Sturmgeist and Psychosis Crawler could be a good way to beat people down as well as the Spiraling Embers since your prone to draw a lot. If you wanted another big beatstick Aeon Chronicler is another */* but you get draw off of him. I dont know if you wanted to run the infinite combos with Niv but theres a couple of cheap enchantments that would make it easy (Ophidian Eye and Curiosity), but you will make yourself a big target from that point on. If you want anymore ideas for your deck check mine out, and im always looking for more help on mine as well so if you see something post it up!

Joiner Adept helps with mana, but not with the Coalition Victory

Not sure if the Helm of the Ghastlord is worth it; seems to cost a lot for what it does. If you discard a lot from your hand you could dump out Anger and Wonder. You wont need Filth since your commander already has swampwalk. If you wanted to secure that and you had the money i would tell you to run Urborg. Hatred, Howl from Beyond, and Unspeakable Symbol are all good alpha strike cards.

Switch out Mnemonic Wall for Archaeomancer to save a mana. Also Im taking your advice and running a bit of a group hugging theme. I suggest you drop Temple Bell and run Howling Mine in its place.

In all honesty i havnt thought about how i would win with nin as commander. I just figured i would end up decking them, and using a couple of artifacts to cycle my graveyard back through. Or just draw until i hit niv and pull and infinite combo with him. I appreciate the input, consider some of the cards that you listed up here about decking an opponent. Instead of Temple Bell though im going to be running Howling Mine.

i like this deck. it reminds me of my deck burn deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=138509, take a look at it if you want too. some of the cards in it are about to go out. but as far as your deck goes i think it looks good except for the goblin who might not work with the fiend once he starts getting bigger.

After looking at your deck i would consider running the anti-artifact combo with naturalize/shatter/crush with liquid metal coating and turn their lands into artifacts and kill them that way. Most of this was stated above, but thats the only thing I can think of at the moment; unless you started running the tectonic edge which destroys non-basic lands.

If you think the spitfire is good for that stuff you should try out Kiln Fiend. Gets a bonus for every spell you play. If you dont mind checking out my U/R burn deck that would be awesome.

Oh, and you might want to switch the Prodigal Pyromancer with Cunning Sparkmage since he has haste.

I think you might need to consider more discard cards in this deck for the amount of discard enchantments you are running; things that come to mind are Hymn to Tourach, Duress, and Burning Inquiry which would be an easy 6 damage for 1 mana. Also might consider some creatures, but i think you have enough removal for you not to have anything. Only other thing i can think of is maybe the rack; which would help when someone starts to top deck.

start by dropping 50 cards out of your deck. Personally think you have a lot more swamps than you need.

Might want to consider dropping out Traumatize, and replacing it with Archive Trap.
For one Archive Trap has a chance to be played for free, but it can also be hard cast for a mill of 13 where as the game goes on Traumatize mills less and less. Might consider dropping Ice Cage for Jace's Erasure or Narcolepsy. Also might need a bit of removal with Doom Blade or Go For The Throat if you wanted it.
Take a look at my Mill/Discard deck! Tell me what you think?
