Deck Description

Get the big creatures out quick

Turn 1:Forest,play birds of paradise.
Turn 2:Land(Forest or ancient Ziggurat),play Bloom tender.
Turn 3:Land(Vivid Grove or Mosswort bridge),play elvish piper.
Turn 4:Forest,play elvish pipers ability, play a big creature in your hand.

I played this in a new torney the card stores around here came up with,High cost. The rules are pretty much the same, but all cards in your deck besides land must be rare(or mythic rare). It was very fun, this deck went 5-1,the one was because i had to pick up my friend from work.

Deck discussion for Big Drop

lose the planeswalker and check out defence of the heart, also add more progenitus(the best monster ever if u can get him out) and worldly tutor.....u need a few things to searchout what u need, this will improve ur decks effectiveness

I would keep the planeswalker in your deck, you can use him to untap lands.I would add creature search like primal command.Otherwise Very good

Ok,I took the planeswalker out of my deck and put him in the side Board,I added Primal command for creature search.I also added Mayael the Anima to my side board to speed things up if i need it,her ability may cost 6 but it let me look at the top 5 of my deck and put a creature with 5 or greater power into play.Thank u for your great ideas.I could use more please.

Everyone is overlooking the fact that every deck in any format now runs cards to deal with this, even if you get your perfect hand out, and get progenitus turn 4, you still need to attack turn 5 and 6 so it won't be over until turn six at absolute best, in which case you're usually dead in standard, definitely dead in most other formats. The idea of using piper to bring out huge guys is not a new idea and has failed many times in the past simply because she dies so easily. Dramatic entrance helps in case the piper dies but then it's still another turn before you get out your big creatures making it just too slow. It's not a bad idea, it never has been, but don't expect to see Piper progenitus in the top 8 for standard.

I don't like this deck either, to much big creatures and the chance to get a lot of mana with Bloom Tender is too low...
I'm with smc, in a normal tournament I don't think you'll have 5 or more wins is low...

The deck is good, but unrealistic. I cant imagine the total cost for this.

i watched a friend play a deck similar to this but instead of elvish piper to bring progenitus out, he used ancestral knowledge to rearrange the top 10 cards of his deck, and then polymorphed a llanowar elf into a progenitus. hillarious victory.
