ended up throwing out the cellar doors in favor of another curse of the bloody tome and a moldgraaf monstrocity for a late game and to retrieve some creatures that i may not have wanted to be thrown to the graveyard.

thanks again

yeah i definitely agree about the grimoire and so i removed that. ill take your word on the skaabs as i haven't playtest them yet (might go and get them anyway just in case). i kind of like cellar door as a "something to do if i have nothing to do" card. it could help with some card advantage was my thought. ive used it in decks before and have sometimes been a life saver. i thought about kessig cagebreakers previously while building and was iffy on them because of the mana cost but i was looking for something late game anyway so ill def throw in at least 2. not too sure on the spider spawning- would sooner throw in more cagebreakers. i was actually thinking about labarotory maniac paired with mirror-mad phantasm actually. could be a killer combination. ill actually add that in as a secondary win condition. ill throw out a gnaw for a forbidden alchemy, though since im not playing black, flashback is a bit useless. but then again most spells are if im tossing them in the graveyard. thanks a ton for the help. much appreciated

i could probably slim down the lands actually... just drew some sample hands, realized everything is pretty low costing... could probably use some late game suggestions or suggestions to speed things up a bit more

they may work as a sideboard card if they end up not working most of the time. i could end up getting majorly screwed somehow and a 4th turn sweep may prove useful

black can just give more options. many of the best mill cards are black/blue. also you can combo traumatize with haunting echoes which is nice. also, if you can afford it, grindstone and painter's servant is a great mill combo. in regards to your current set-up, i would max out your wall of frosts, take out rite of replication and call to mind (no need for call to mind, if you want the card thats in your graveyard you can just replace call to mind with another copy or version of the card thats in your graveyard), add some baby jace's if you can (just for some card draw-also helps with the mill factor and adds another threat on the field), maybe add sleep. Halimar depths might be a good idea and some fetch lands for some deck thinning and for your hedron crabs. You dont even need the expensive ones, any of the common fetches will be worth it as well. you want to be able to abuse thoes crabs as much as possible.

i wouldnt worry about it. mill decks are pretty popular. its not like you created it. they all eventually become copies of themselves with slight variations. also, for the creator, the painter's servant/ grindstone combo is pretty awesome if your doing legacy or something. i would put that in any mill deck.

you may want a draw mechanic of some sort though. howling mines maybe or temple bell or jaces maybe. you may run out of a hand i just realized. still awesome

this is pretty cool. thumbs up from me. cant really think of anything. i originally was thinking that you may have too many high costing creatures, but your probably end up tossing them in the graveyard anyway. if fabricate was still legal, i would suggest that. but its not... so... yeah. good idea. im surprised i havent seen too many other masticore decks yet.

that splinter twin idea is freakin awesome. liquid metal coating might be a good idea as well, but i would need to playtest that out a bit more. thanks for the comment.

i would replace the fetches with the better ones if you have the cash. and also sideboards can only be 15 cards i think.
