Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

starts picking up about 3rd turn. in my opinon its a slow start but it works pretty well.

What do you think about the Viscera Seer/Bloodghast Combo? Works awful well, you'd need fetch lands, though.

Drop the Bloodwitch and Nighthawk, they're not good in today's Standard environment (which is what I assume you're aiming for :)

That being said, you need to decide whether you want to be fast or be more of a control deck, I don't think Grave Titan fits a speed vamps deck. You might find that you end up with him stuck in your hand, unable to be cast. Same with the Mimic Vat; it's a weird card, more of a "Win More" card, not necessary I think.

Just some ideas. I wish i would've had help when I was new... lol :)

okay so you've got 4 captivating vampire which is alright, but consider you only have 19 creatures total that aren't even all vampires. There's almost no way anyone is going to let you get out five vampires without killing them with some sort of removal(grasp of darkness, disfigure, smother, lightning bolt, burst lightning, condemn, into the roil, journey to nowhere and on and on...) at least if your playing standard against people at an FNM or something. Captivating vampire isn't too good unless you're playing very creature heavy, like 24-26 creatures. Also you've got a lot of one-ofs like bloodchief ascension, pulse tracker, hexmage, and doom blade. all of which you want to run more of. i would scrap grave titan, and drana, kalastria bloodchief. they are a little bit slow for vampires. Grave titan is awesome but he's better in a control deck. One card that i cant stress enough is Kalastria highborn. You pretty much need it any vampire deck. In many cases it is a win condition and it's very quick to get on the field. It makes you much less susceptible to mass removal(day of judgment, pyroclasm, consume the meek). So yeah that's some advice for you. Take a look at my vampire decks and you might get some ideas. good luck
