Deck discussion for Esper Control

Hmm, I'm not sure about dropping a copy of detention spear and a copy of revelation for the Blood Barons. They are too easily dealt with in early game and too difficult to cast without repercussions in late game. What motivated you to run them? Personally, I'm playing this same deck, but I'm at 26 lands and use the extra three spaces (no barons for me) for an extra copy of detention spear, thoughtsieze, and revelation. I do like your sideboard though. However, I'm really into "revoke existence" due to the large number of enchantment god/creatures out there. It's a great way to deal with Thasa and Phoserphous (or whatever) and somewhat unexpected. Goodluck!

I would actually cut a copy of Jace just because you don't want to be stuck with too many. I would definitley have four sphinx rev's. They are the most powerful card in this deck so you should try and play four of those and just play three Jace.

Well, I only run three Rev's mainly because I think four is a bit excessive and I actually didn't really want four sphere's again, mainly because it just seemed like I could put it in place of something else... That "something else" being a Blood Baron. I've thought about moving Blood Baron to the side board; he's mainly there to deal with monoblack that's been running rampant lately, not only that, but it's just a good card overall. I really appreciate the critique.
