Would the Nether Traitor work, because it says whenever ANOTHER creature is put into the graveyard... I use him with Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice him, using the one mana to get him back, in combo with blood artist to inflict infinite damage and lifegain, or with golgari germination to get infinite tokens.

A cheap deck? Dunno about Test of Endurance, because I tried to make a lifegain deck almost identical to this one but was too expensive....

As a fellow mono redder, I strongly suggest replacing an instant or a sorcery with Tribal Flames.

Seismic Assault is awful!

I would replace Fireblast and Thunderous Wrath with Tribal Flames and Lavaspike :P

Since this deck is mana heavy, you should use Jaws of Stone or most preferably Tribal Flames
