Understandable, but you know how easy it is to get a lets say 10/10 exalted creature out on turn 5, for example. Essence Harvest is then a 20 life swing (10 damage and 10 gain) for 3 mana. Very hard to pass that up. Usually GG assume damage has been dealt on turns 2-4.

I love the one-drop exalted Duty-Bound Dead. I would sooner take out the Essence Harvest than the Duty-Bound Dead, and as noted above, I love the Essence Harvest in this deck.

Just a different approach I suppose. Any chance your buddy has his deck online? If you could provide a link so I can view it, that would be great!

Updated:

OUT:
2 Scortchwalker - With only normal mana, using two mountains for a Bloodrush could be risky.
2 Zhur-Taa Swine - Removed the mana ramp to keep deck/Bloodrush cheaper
2 Rubblebelt Raiders - Didn't fit with theme
3 Zhur-Taa Druid - This deck is win or lose. One point of damage will not make a difference. Considering Mystic Elf
2 Ghor-Clan Rampager - No need for trample with Legion Loyalist

IN:
4 Legion Loyalist - Trample and with no treat of him dying with Bloodrush
2 Wasteland Vipers - More 1 drops
2 Slaughterhorn - Cheaper Bloodrush
2 Rubberbelt Makaa - Cheaper Bloodrush

Sideboard to counter:
- Flying
- Creature removal
- Enchantment/Artifact decks

WANTS (only threw trade):
- More Domri Rade
- Stomping Ground

Alright, alright. I'll look into some 1-drops and change the land. On the land note, it would also be worse to have the Selesnya Guildgate as Gruul Guildgate would yield the same results (should I choose to go the Guildgate route. Probably going to scratch them). You are 100% correct on the Boros Guildgates... Not sure why I didn't catch that.

I won't do the Stomping Grounds/shock lands based on cost. I also don't believe they are good for duo colour decks. 10% of your health for a land doesn't make sense to me, and that doesn't include the ~$10 cost each. Please agree to disagree on this one for me, I feel very strongly about this and would like to focus on the deck, not on my stubbornness.

Give me some time this weekend and I'll make some changes. Feedback would be greatly appreciated afterwards.

I would like to bring this deck to tournaments, so I'll look into improving the sideboard. I see what gremere102 is saying about them and will adapt. Again, I'll change on the weekend and would appreciate feedback afterwards.

I'll post a comment on the bottom regarding the changes. Thank you for the help guys/gals :)

Honestly, I use the sideboard as a way to test cards. I shouldn't even include it online.

I'm not too worried about turn one, I can drop my Burning-Tree Emissary for free on turn 2. I refuse to purchase shock lands as the price does not justify the strength of the card. I've beaten many tournament-winning decks without shock lands and see no reason to play them here. I have had quite a few turn 4 wins, and don't want to create an all-in deck. I want it to be sustainable for mid-late game.

I suppose the main concern here is the "aggro" tag I have included. I suppose I should remove this.

Also, this was originally a $12 deck. Wasn't until I added some cards I had from boosters that it became expensive.

Myr Incubator is a dagger for any artifact deck! Only $1 on Starcitygames.

Awesome deck though. Especially for that price.

Wild Beastmaster! If you bloodrush her, all other attacking creatures receive the same increase.

Have a look at mine if you have a moment :)

Or Zhur-Taa Druid. I prefer this for the mana ramp myself.

I feel like the creatures you are bloodrushing could be better: Wild Beastmaster being the best IMO

Instead of making your own deck, why wouldn't you try to improve the owner's. This comment helps no one, why waste your breath. This deck allows cards like Tragic Slip to be less effective. It's less all-in than your deck. Domi gets bloodrushers into the owner's hand much faster. I find his +1 more practical than his -7 for this deck.

Try to help the owner, don't just tell him to remake the deck.

Wild Beastmaster is always fun in a Bloodrush deck. If you can bloodrush her, it affects all other attacking creatures.

And, as a suggestions because this is your deck not mine, do you have enough creatures? 17 might not be enough considering you will be discarding many of them to bloodrush.

The difference being you do damage instead of drawing cards. And you don't have to sac a creature.

Love it. Finally someone else who considered Wild Beastmaster and Bloodrush. You have given me hope in the MtG community.

I am also wasted, which makes this deck better.

How about Wild Beastmaster. If you bloodrush her, all other attacking creatures will get the same boost. I researched, it works.
