It is iffy. I am looking at that now. It could mana screw me so bad if played on the 1st or 2nd turn.
It will be a three turn land...but if it helps at all, it does count as 2 mana when tapped.
But yeah...I love tempo...and Teferi's Isle is very slow. May change it. Have to test play it, for sure.

Turn 1. Play Teferi's Isle. Play Ornithopter (if i have it).
Turn 2. Teferi's Isle is phased out. I play 1Island. Play Sisay's Ingenuity (if I have it).
Turn 3. Teferi's Isle phases in. I play another Island. Now I have 2 Islands and 1 Teferi's Isle. I have 4 mana on Turn 3. I tap Teferi's Isle for 2 mana. It phases back out at end of my turn.

It is very iffy. Will be playing catch up if i use Teferi's Isle.

Phasing works like this:

"Phasing (This phases in or out before you untap during each of your untap steps. While it's phased out, it's treated as though it doesn't exist.)"

But i seen several sites saying you couldn't untap Teferi's Isle...so, about 90 percent sure, Mtg changed something about Phasing...some time throughout Magic History.

Yeah...i won't be able to play it until 3rd turn after it is played. Good catch on that one. Crap, lol.
1st turn. Play it tapped.
2nd turn. It phases out.
3rd turn. It phases in, untaps, and you can use it.

That is sorta lame. It is a good card though, overall, because during the 2nd turn, when it is phased out, it can't be bounced.

Thanks for looking over the deck and catching that.

And here i thought paying life for cards/mana was a black thing!
Leave it up to you Northy, to build something like this!

Good call with adding Unlife. Pump up your creatures to insane amounts of power, and you don't die from it.

No, the sad part is that this deck is still getting likes while i had several of my decks be kicked off from the Hot Page because I posted more Hot Decks. You can only have 2 hot decks. But this guys deck keeps getting vote after vote. Not cool. And he will still get likes/comments forever. That is the way Magic Vault is designed right now. Punish good deck builders. And reward decks like this for months!

The ranting on this site really makes my day! I am the best ranter, by far, just look at some of my comments. But you guys are pretty good at ranting. You guys make me smile. Keep up the ranting! But, if you guys get finished doing that...mind doing something like checking a few of my decks out?

Hell, you can check them out and rant on how crappy they are!

Yep, Sisay's Ingenuity (for me making combo heavy decks lately) and Words of the Wind is the only combo in this deck.

Sisay's Ingenuity, with Words of Wind pretty much equals = pay 1 colorless and pay 1 blue, bounce one of your opponent's cards to his hand.

It is like a Boomerang on a Stick.

Yep, Mana Vault and Mana Crypt. Plus Ponder/Brainstorm.
This deck, budget now, could be brutal with a few expensive/restricted cards. Would almost need an enchantment that you can pay to draw. Like Treasure Trove...but cheaper mana costs to go along with the Crypt/Vault/Mox.

Again, will look at your suggestions later.

I think the shield sphere cost the most...and even he isn't that expensive.

* There will be a phase were you are building up and where you have Words of Wind in play but not a phased out army yet. You might want to use Words of Wind in that phase to slow opponents down.* Yep, my flawed plan was to pray like hell that they didn't have any main threats in-between the turns the creatures are phased in. Basically, if i had a phased in creature, to not use Words of Wind, unless urgent. But I will look into the cards suggested.

*Another way to abuse Words of Winds would be if you played permanents with come-into-play effects. Good old Man-o'-War for example.* Actually had him in the original deck. I took him out for the Myr. Thought was...if i bounce my own lands to my hand, I will still have mana available. And if Words of Wind is working right, my opponent won't be having that many creatures for Man-o-war to bounce. But I will consider adding him back.

Disk is a very solid choice.

Sisay's Ingenuity and Ornithopters are the keys to this deck.
As would be Sensei's Diving Top and Sapphire Medallion. And Lotus Petals if I had them in here.
They would break this deck wide open!!!

Here it is Puschkin:

Have Words of Wind in play. Have any one creature in play. Let us say Silver Myr.
Now, have 4 mana on the table, untapped.
So, play for 1 mana, Sisay's Ingenuity (on the Myr) she comes into play and you draw a card. Instead, pay 1 to activate Words of Wind. So, now you and my opponent have to bounce a permanent. So, I bounce Sisay's Ingenuity back to my hand and my opponent bounces one of his lands to his hand. Now, end result, I have 2 mana left untapped and Sisay's Ingenuity back in my hand. So, I tap 1 mana again, play Sisay's Ingenuity (enchanting Myr again). Pay 1 mana when Sisay's comes into play with Words of Wind. Now, bounce Sisay's back to my hand. My opponent bounces another land to his hand.

Outcome = My opponent bounced two lands to his hand. I kept bouncing Sisay's to my hand. No harm done to me. My opponent lost two lands.

Same thing with Sapphire Mox or Ornithopter. They are 0 mana cards.
So, have Words of Wind in play. Have Ornithopter in play. Now, play a draw spell and activate Words of Wind. Your opponent choices to bounce one of his lands. I choose to bounce Ornithopter. It is zero mana, so I just play it again. Now I play another draw spell and activate Words of Wind again. My opponent has to bounce one of his lands again. I just rebounce my Ornithopter.

Ornithopter and Sisay's Ingenuity are bounce targets...in more simple terms. Imagine Sapphire Medallion in the deck! Play it for free, tap it for one mana (for the two mana needed to 1) play a draw spell 2) activate Words of Wind), play a draw spell, activate Words of Wind, bounce my Mox, return my Mox. No harm no foul. But my opponent has to bounce his stuff. But Shield Sphere does sound better than Ornithopter.

Will consider all of your other choices.

Thanks!

Yes, blue and white, With Wrath of God.

But yes...no one hardly sees Phasing. Hell, there are new mtg players who have played for 2 or 3 years and never have seen Phasing. So, it will be a surprise for them.

So, something like Divination isn't as strong since it will only make Words of Wind be activated once :(
