Yeah, fixed incomes suck. I am going back to college right now (tired of attics/insulation/factory work)...and do not currently work. I am definitely looking for part time work...but right now surviving on Student Loans.

I have this system, where i buy construction paper, trace out paper using a magic card, cut them out, and let my wife draw pictures for the cards.

Almost every deck on this site, i do not own. :) I own a lot of green/black/red/blue/white construction paper decks, though!!!

That is what I have found out, on this site. You can recommend cards...but they usually are based on what metagame you play. If you play opponent's with a lot of creatures...you recommend, to other people, creature destruction. If you play a lot of opponent's with control decks...you recommend to people, on this site, combo killers. But a lot of times...people put the cards that they do, in their decks, because they already have in mind whom/what they are playing against.

Ugh, Lackeys and Piledrivers!!! I have them, wife is great at art, drawn on red construction paper, in my Goblin Decks.

That deck was designed by my Vaan (guy I play most games against)
I lost to that deck over 12 times....i lost 6 times in a row, at one point.

To make it work, successful, the key is running a crap ton of cheap discard spells. And the best of those cards are not Modern...unfortunately.

He will have Nihil Stone charged with 2 counters by Turn 3. I would be losing 5 life, every turn, by Turn 4.

I loved Liliana's Caress...until my friend convinced me of the power of Nihil Stone...you either keep one card in your hand...at all times...or you take 5 damage every upkeep. Brutal.

No problems with that. Decks constantly need to be remade...especially if playing mainly against one person over and over. Things get boring quickly.

You and van thought about making 2 decks...going to a magic shop, and playing you two against two other people? That could be fun.

Yep, too many creatures. Way too many. And too little pure discard spells...and of course, take Megrim out.

I still can't help but like Quest for the Nihil Stone...just a little better. I might consider it over Affliction.
