You, NinjaStyle, get the idea. Again, some people (look at card companies) make their living on buying cards at the right time...and selling them at the right time. Sorry AZ88 for clogging up your deck with so many posts :(

IT isn't needed, the Medallion, i just always thought it was.

I love the Steel Golem/Donate you have going on.
Frantic Search...is banned. So is Mystic Tutor (what I run in my Trix deck)...it is very hard to get a search engine for the Donate, that isn't banned.

What about Puca's Mischief...maybe it has a place? Not sure. It isn't absolutely needed either. Key I have learned...only put in cards that must be in a deck...and try to make every card have 2 purposes. So, with that in mind. Your deck is very, very solid!

I was trying to say..certain cards...cards that win Standard tourneys (maybe rebels are another example)...when they cycle out, they lose value.

Crap, i did not know that.
But besides Mutavault, I have seen it in person.

Prime example, Morphling. It was around 12-15 bucks in standard...now you can buy it for 5 bucks...all day long.
Dozens of other examples. Maybe not with Mutavault....i sounded like an idiot with that one.

I wonder, just watch friends, how much the price will sink (Mutavault).

Freaking Hasbro! Make people, whom play Standard, buy 20 dollar cards...then they cycle out, and you can buy the same card for 4 bucks. IT has to be aggravating!

Same with Mana Confluence. It is double the price of City of Brass. Wait to it cycle outs...will be interesting to see how much it goes down.

There are actually people, like with stock market, whom sale/buy cards right before and after expansions cycle in/out. They will be trying to sale all of their Mutavaults VERY SOON, before the price plummets. Same deal with the new M15 expansion. They will try to buy, very early on, any cards that look really good...hoping they skyrocket in price (once everyone else realizes the cards potential).

Yep, i got back into magic last year...and a new player, whom was willing to trade cards with me wanted two cards of mine (that I had extra of)
1) Lightning Bolt
2) Counterspell

I let him have about 9 Lightning Bolts...not knowing they were so valued! He traded me some store credit for a online Magic Shop.

I had no idea they were so valued!! I can see Chain Lightning being expensive...but i thought the Bolts were a dime a dozen!

And i think you are right in your assumptions about the help tag and margin of people wanting help/versus wanting to help.

Thing is...i am searching (yahoo and google) old school trix decks...and only about half of them have the Sapphire in them.
I am feeling like a total idiot now. Maybe, in my mind, I made up the fact that everyone used Sapphire in the Trix decks.

Almost every deck, that i have seen that used Sapphire was dual color. Like red/blue Trix deck. And green/blue oath of druids/trix deck.

So, just ignore my comments. I am dumb :)

Crap, missed that. 99 out of 100 people use to run the old trix deck with Sapphire Medallion...so I assumed you needed it for the combo to work. I have a deck very close to it, on Magic Vault...with Medallion....cause I thought you needed it for the cumulative upkeep. I am dumb.

I hate to post my decks on other people's decks...but could you look at this, then, and see if i do not even need the Sapphire Medallion?

I feel you so much Couch312. And i have heard the same argument from other people too. That Standard is so stale! Same old same old. Puschkin rants about it too. Back in Urza days, there were 6 or more competitive decks. Plus another dozen that could compete with the competitive decks.

Not now...from what I hear. From what i actually hear...Standard is much like any tribal deck...it almost builds itself.

Again, I love this deck posted here, so not talking about it. Just talking about Standard in general.

I really enjoyed looking at this deck, standard or not.

Hell, I even got downvoted recently (on my Mutant Ninja Turtle deck) for asking advice for one of my OTHER decks (Static deck)!! So yes, not sure where to ask advice at.

I totally get being downvoted for posting your deck link, on another person's hot deck, without suggesting cards/advice...but to get downvoted on posting links to one of your own decks, i do not get it.

I hate it. She got so down on herself...for having to ask me questions on how to play Magic...so she erased the deck. Swore to never play Magic again. It broke my heart and aggravated me. What was she expecting? She had played for less than 1 month, of course she wouldn't understand every card/rule.

Yep, Theros made my Serra Sanctum card go through the roof. Nearly doubled in one week. But it has started going back down.

Yeah, it is casual, for sure! Too much mana and too many cards involved to make a Mutant Ninja Turtle...even with the Sapphire.

Don't think she will be back on here. Sadly. She got too hard on herself! Didn't believe in herself...and abilities, enough. Her very first deck, she made, got to the top of the Hot Pages...then she erased it!

Yep. That is one of my number one pet peeves. People not running very many 1cmc cards. It irks me. That and having no artifact/enchantment hate in their decks. But apparently, it is very common in Standard to do both of those two things.

With that said though, this deck would be right up my alley, if I ever tried to do Standard.

Thought of Waste Not? Building a deck around that? I don't play Standard, so it looks nice to me. But I do not know if there are enough Standard cards to play Waste Not successful.

SO, dumb question, has M15 rotated in? Officially? And, if it did rotate in, what got rotated out, if anything?
