I one up you! Since we are taking requests...i want a nice, simple old school stompy mono green deck. Decent mana producer like Llanowar elves. Then classic cheap creatures like Rogue Elephants and Wild Dogs. And pounce with Rancor, Giant Growth. Are those cards cheap? I am a fan!

As always, solid advice.

I started playing around the end of Exodus/Tempest/Mirage. My serious days (where i would buy more than just one booster pack at a time) were Urza's Saga. I actually collected from that Expansion. Legacy/Destiny/Saga. I basically stopped after highschool (graduated in 2002, so that makes me 31 this year), only to pick at the game here and there. Started playing again when a friend gave me thousands of cards (from M10, Zendikar, Worldwake, and the such) because he was getting back out of Magic.

I play most of my games now with a guy much younger than me, but whom plays a lot of the old cards still. He has updated me on Token decks. Mill decks. And the such. It was a humbling event. Getting pummeled.

Okay. Let's do this. Splice Red. 4 Worldgorger Orgg, then.
What do we begin to take out? Serra's Sanctum and Indestructibility?
With lands? Some cheaper dual lands? I like the one that basically state "comes into play tapped unless you control a mountain or plains." Not sure of the name. With Orgg needing two Mountains to play and Near Death needing three Plains to play...mana is going to be a bitch, in this deck.

More advice, please.

And will recheck out your decks, Puschkin. I think I remember checking out your decks...and, if i remember correctly, look at it like this, I had trouble giving advice that would make your deck better. In other words, good job!

Joking aside...when I regularly played magic Mill wasn't even invented. And they did not have enough "Infect" creatures/cards to make an effective Poison deck. Nor were there that many 1-win-cards or win condition cards.

You are right. Need to rethink my game. My issue is I play the same meta game with same few people. Need to broaden my horizons.

Shock is better than Galvanic Blast. True. Agreed.

And Why Guttersnipe? Take him out and add 2 more cards that produce creature tokens.

Good luck.

I win by Thran Foundry.

For smarter players, I know they will not damage me if they catch that I am wanting them to damage me. They are forced to stall. Either they try to destroy Thran Foundry or Worship or Near-Death Experience. If not they do nothing. They simply run out of cards as I keep shuffling my graveyard back into my Library. Very slow death.

By I see your point with Soulgorger Orgg. Worldfire is another one. Splashing red does make the deck more controlled. I just like the idea of an opponent getting aggravated with Thran Foundry.

Thanks for the device.

Fastest? Furnace of Rath is Faster than Fire Servant.

And Reckless Abandon is way Faster than Fling.

And Guttersnipe is slow. Vexing Devil is pure speed. So much faster than Guttersnipe. Goblin Guide is also way faster than Guttersnipe.

I like the deck. Looks pretty good. Overall, this is way I would say:

-2 Fire Servant
+2 Furnace of Rath

-2 Fling
+2 Reckless Abandon

-4 Guttersnipe
+4 Vexing Devil

-2 Increasing Vengeance
+2 Fireblast (one of the fastest cards in a burn deck. You will want to run 4 of these. Sac two tapped lands (which you just tapped for stuff like Vexing Devil and Lightning Bolt, and do an extra 4 damage).

Good luck.

I prefer single color decks. Would suggest single color decks for beginners too. But 2 color decks, which are more complex and multifaceted, are more versatile. As was said, they provide benefits.

More Snake Baskets. Would run 3. Or maybe even 4.

Good luck.

Tome Scour? It is way better than something like Destroy the Evidence or Increasing Confusion.

Might would reduce some of your 5 mana creatures like Belltower Sphinx or Geth. Maybe increase your Mind Funeral in exchange for some of the 5 mana stuff.

Think those 2 changes would speed up your deck.
