I've tried this as well, but I never got it to work properly.
With white you'd go flipper and use cloudshift, angels and the conjurers closet to abuse the ooze.

With blue you could go Infinate reflection and copys. (I tried that tho and it was fun if you got it going, but it was very slow)


My guess is that the flipping would work est, especially since you could tempo with Thrags.

Hmm thinking of switching the slitherheads for Strangleroot Geist.. Any opinions on that?

You might be right actually. Its only one mana in difference after all and as you say has much bigger impact. I'll try it :)

Tried this deck at a local tourney yesterday and went 3-1 without a SB. Will put Sheltering word in SB is what I learned from it :)

Well I think you two might have ended up in the classical "I have to win this argument" battle if I didn't point this out ;)

I think I will try to build this deck my self tonight and try it out, I have all the cards and I've been (un)dying to use my hounds and ashmouth's again :)

And lets not forget, you can block, then tap creatures.. so you don't have to lose blockers to spawn that 5/5 token :)

Now don't get me wrong, I don't ment to bash the deck, its just that with all the Bant and Rakdos Aggro decks, I just can't see you even making it to turn 5 for a Crusher. You might have a turn 3 4/4 Flyer, but by Rakdos it might get Dreadbored, and with Bant it will just trade with a Loxodon.

You could deffo drop down to 1 Sands and 2 Confusion, both of those cards are very mana heavy and in mono blue with no ramp.. well you don't want to cast them until turn 6 at least.

If you drop one Cackling or go down to 1 confusion you can run 4 unsummon, just so you have something to stop Nobles, Cacklers, Gravecrawlers and what not early so you get some pacing.

I'd also switch Think twice for Inaction Junction for further pacing.

I really do like that you have an alternate win conditionin Jace, Crusher and Cackling :)

Maybe Switch young wolf for Arbor then? :)

I like speedy decks (I play Rakdos my self atm). But when you go for speed, cards like Devils play and Mizzium Mortars feels very out of context, even Wild hunger.

For direct spells I'd go for this:
4 Titanic Growth
4 Pillar of Flame
4 Searing Spear
4 Rangers Guile
1 Revenge of the hunted

For creatures I'd switch Cacklers for Nobles.

Sphere of Safety and Ethereal armor is completely out of place in this deck.
Hellriders, and maybe even Rally the peasants? :P

Commented on both of your decks, although I couldn't ad much to the Bant deck, it looked very nice :)

You wnated my input, but I have to say, this looks awesome the way it is. I've gone a bit different on my own (been play testing it for two weeks and taking it to 3 tourneys this week).

If you mean for example Cast Diciple of Bolas and target an Elk and get both life,cards and a land, then no. Because when the first sacrifice resolves the second one will no longer have a target :)

But Bolas is ment to target any of the bigger creatures ;)

The reason for Arbor instead of sage is so that I can sacrifice the Elk the same turn I cast them, so it's faster ramp (and safer).

Deathrite sounds legit as a SB card, I'll look into if I can get a hold of some :)

Yes, I was choosing between Vraska and Garruk for SB, but I think Garruk has more impact.
Corpsejack doesn't really fill a role in this deck as I will quite often just sac the demon early on for the Disciple. If he gets to grow, +1+1 is enough for my purpouses.

Golgari charm is something I missed, deffo good for sideboard to have against big wipes.
