If you play disrupt by itself, it would be the only card it could target unless you paid an additional 1 mana. It's best used when your opponent uses instant/sorcery's.

It's definitely a sideboard option. There is a 50% chance of countering your own card.

Glad you like it. At the last moment, I decided to keep the max cmc at 4. I originally intended for sorin/vengeance and hellkite to be in the deck. I didn't know that Bloodthirst stacked. I guess you learn something every day. Thanks North.
