Dega or W/R/B as it is also known. I have a friend who runs Dega Vampires (http://www.mtgvault.com/shadowdusk13/). Just use deck search for vampires (http://www.mtgvault.com/decks/search/?q=sorin,%20lord%20of&searchtype=cardname&c=w,b,r&cmulti=true).

^Why not run Dega Vampires? That's what a friend of mine does.

Not to mention hydras and other things that deal with counters. Nice suggestions. What are thoughts on Banshee's Blade and Blade of the Bloodchief?

That's primarily what it's for, but it is not limited to that use. Your use of it depends on strategy, and what your opponent is playing. Underworld Connections is use a lot in mbd. MD connections, SB reap if concerned about devotion. They both have their strong points.

1B. As an additional cost to cast Altar's Reap, sac a creature. Draw 2 cards.

No problem. I have a friend(http://www.mtgvault.com/shadowdusk13/) that runs Dega vampires in modern so I know a little. Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention cavern of souls.

At the moment (since I'm unsure of what to take out), I'd sideboard it. Pithing Needle and some more kill spells should be sideboarded as well. Vault of the Archangel might be a good utility land for this deck.

A combo with gray that I like to do is Altar's Reap with Whip of Erebos. As a control player, I wouldn't let you play gray so reanimating it would be the thing to do.

For some reason Altar's Reap popped in my head. It would actually work well with sorin's +1. Whip of and Erebos might work as well. Good luck.

Modern and Standard with the occasional Legacy and EDH are what's played at my local shops. Sorry about the format change. Thanks though.

In modern(though I'm missing a few cards) I had a deck with seer, melira, random creature(s) with persist and germination. The result, inf tokens. For this build/format, I agree. Dark depths would be funny.

I'm still trying to get the rest of the cards, but before I do, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Sounds good, though personally I would keep the seer. As for spire, maybe something with the same effect of evolving wilds(or some sort of utility land). I have this deck, but I haven't played it(not to say I won't). As a control player Jund/Naya aren't really my thing.

I have the current deck list irl. I do not have any dreadbore(or slaughter games in that matter). The deck is Grixis Midrange with a style splash of mbd. Started out playing Grixis/Esper, but I've been playing U/W/R since last standard, so I'm probably a little rusty and indecisive on what I want to run/have this deck do.
