It's a variant of magic. You get 100 mainboard and 20 sideboard, but may only have one copy of each card. I don't know much more. I can read the rules if you like.

Lightning Bolt + Lava Spike + Blazimg Salvo + Seariring Blaze (+ Flame Slash) = no one plays your deck twice.

Plus I don't have enough dough to buy more lightning bolts than my dad gave me. Any nonstandard suggestion competes with blazing salvo and searing blaze!

108.3. The owner of a card in the game is the player who started the game with it in his or her deck.

So ... since unsummon specifies it returns a card to it's owner, not it's controller, it should work.

This like how cards that are sent to a graveyard head to their owner's side.

True dat, but all decks have a weakness. This deck would similarly lose if I nailed Mr. Immolating with a Lightning Bolt.

Secondly, with all the deck search, it's highly probable that Immolating Souleater and company (a protection spell) will be or might be in hand after a few mulligans.

But ... it's mote rakdos flavored than anything ... okay I get it. I just play white a lot, so I still don't gauge trading life for favors very well.

Good point. That's why I don't add OP to most of my decks ... only tournament play deserves cards like Planeswalkers, especially if your opponent has no response to it.

My burn deck is mono colored, super low mana curve (max 4 CMC), and I run 24 lands. This needs at least 22. Possible more for speed and less mulligans.

That sucks, unless you want to take damage. A lifegain deck has much better choices for a one-drop

I like your advice! Cipher works better with creatures, especially unblockable ones. Hand of binding is more bang for your buck than a one use unsummon.

Hmmm ... not exactly trying to pump any creatures. However, a little card draw is a great idea!
