Deck Description

So, here is a Damia EDH deck. Its literally brand new, as in I've only played it three times. Won once, almost won the second (took someone out, and the last thing they did was try their best to screw me over against the remaining player), and then the third time I got color screwed out of blue for half the game, with cards that required me to have 2 blue mana... But that first time, I wrecked their sh*t.

As per usual, feedback is appreciated, and I will consider all suggestions.

Yeah, I decided to drop Memnarch in favor of Darksteel Ingot, for mana stability.

Now I must decide whether I wanna drop Plague Wind for Life's Finale. The issue with the latter being that it could aid my opponents. The reason for the switch would mostly be for Necrotic Ooze, like if I'm playing against R I could search out my opponent's Kiki Jiki or something of equal threat.

Deck discussion for Damia, Sage of Stone - EDH

hey man nice looking deck, i'm currently working on building a damia deck myself hope to get in some playtesting tomorrow. looking at your mana base you could add the 3 ABU dual lands as well as some fetch lands if money isn't an issue. the fetchlands synergize very well with crucible of worlds you already run. darksteel ingot is also another hard to remove great little mana rock.

I would love the ABU lands, but unfortunately money is a little bit of an issue for me, and I don't think my play group would appreciate proxies of them. But I do have a couple fetch lands in there, which are always put to great use with Crucible of Worlds. And yes, I was thing about adding Darksteel Ingot actually. I'll probably end up dropping Memnarch, as I haven't been able to put him to effective enough use. So I may add that in his place.

Thanks for the feedback~ o3o

Pretty sweet--this is a little outside of my normal play style, so I'm not sure how much help I can be. One thought I had was Summer Bloom might help for clearing a lot of lands out of your hand so that you can draw more cards with Damia. I also like cycle lands in EDH--they come in tapped, but you can get rid of them if you don't need them. Also, what do you think of the new blue Planeswalker Tamiyo in here?

i recommend thought reflection to double the fun, and an eldrazi titan to keep your from decking yourself, kozilek would fit the card draw theme, and ulamog could give you a great late game option with discard utility early on... BTW, crucible of worlds is on the banned list.

Nice deck, you should take out the leyline of the void since it removes graveyards from the game and you play off of graveyards. Thats unless you play solely off your own graveyard, which still works.

I love the deck, Damia is a commander I've been tinkering with lately... Have you considered Jace Beleren or Sorin Markov as adds? Sorin's -3 ability kills in EDH and Jace is a nice little draw engine that people usually don't target(due to his making everyone draw a card as a +2 ability.

If you have time, please check out my EDH deck build around Damia(or Mimeoplasm really)
