Right but ring triggers on your upkeep and idk what the second card you mention is lol but yeah the gaft only triggers sage turn it drops.

Why not run something more than simic charm to trigger sage? Slaughter pact comes to mind as with Kira there's no down fall, with paradise's you can pay if needed against your opponent, and if you happen to be tapped out minus your gilder you can still combo out first turn with sage.

You can't imprint overload, it's an alternate cost it doesn't work like kicker. Also your land was better before as bounce lands just slow you down and thawing glaziers really isn't needed as a 4 of.

The fetch lands shuffle your library after you pitch cards you don't want in your hand from brainstorming as well as helping you not draw lands. Just my thoughts obviously do as you'd like. Your right though you have no one drops so filter lands and buddy lands turn one aren't too big of a deal.

*sorry just force spike as a one drop

I'd cut two filer lands and one of each basic for four fetch lands. After brainstorming with jace fetch lands are nice sometimes as well as thinning the deck.

But yeah if you budget is big enough for 3 jtms and 4 mana drain why not have the mana base to go with it. You can get volcanic islands for like $225 a pop though

Maybe I don't understand? You can afford a $200 counterspell but not good lands for the deck?

So 2 issues with this deck. 1. not legal in any format not sure why people post things like that. 2. clearly no budget for you so why not run dual lands fetch lands shock lands? 3.

if your going to run 2 sol rings you might as well run 4 as it's not legal anyway

Neat deck i'd suggest more colorless removal like disk or oblivian stone or even steel helkite because if someone locks down green you're f'd

Karn, jitte, survival of the fittest, and loyal retainers would be my first adds.

Then you have life from the loam, crucible of worlds, sun titan, eternal witness, and Riftsweeper if they are exiled and he can be recurred many ways as well.

Blightsteels doesn't work for this deck sadly, minds crank seems weak as you should have enough juice in your deck to not try to count on random creatures, grave robber over scavenging ooze due to the fact you'd rather have them keep creatures in the yard than exiled, and more mass removal . What about a birthing pod, cycle lands if your running lftl.

Good job missing the entire purpose of the deck.
