If you're just running mauler for hexproof why not just run Asceticism? Even better now with intruder alarm so you untap mana dorks forever for regen (although regen is just meh most the time).

Also thoughts on intruder alarm taking parallel lives spot? Maybe you're getting to where you don't have the fatties as consistently (maybe a terra stadium for removal/more creatures for them to trigger defense of the heart) and would want another one or two or maybe a card like greater good for card draw? Academy rector might be worth a test too (takes a swords instead of a fattie, prevents early attack, gets a win con in play rather than just revealed to top deck like tutor). With blue splashed if you keep parallel lives you could play a 1 of rite of replication too lol.

Just some more thoughts lol.

- 3 luminescent rain for 2 Elspeth tirel (backed by boros charm for ult) and one shamanic revelation type card? Higher cmc but more utility.

You have 8 fetch lands for green, birds, and prime time so adding splash of blue would be easy if you wanted.

Oracle doesn't actualy draw though just puts it into your hand.

Baby jace, Misty rainforest, serum vision, and cryptic command because they're some of the best cards here for better starts/control.

Prob throws the budget out the window though lol

Yup and with troll defense of the heart would be awesome too. Add avenger and boom.

Why so many 5cmc buffs and not just stick to the over run token plan? This would free spots ^

What happened was it died too easily to the removal in the format so yeah it had to go more control. And try to land it later. So then it also needed a back up win con so yeah ugin. It's not really like his deck at all lol yeah I liked the use of secret other than that maybe you should compare them? Unless your talking about the sideboard that was never there before and was 30 cards of testing. I think the idea is to see what works best and make adjustments so...

I added Sphinx for the discard/scry to hit what I wanted better.

Should play well, I'd run 2 tasigur he's a house if he stays on the board when you choose what's in your yard from delve. Reuse removal is key.

yeah the norm seems to be 24/25 but I think right now it runs smooth enough and the hexproof is sometimes rather key as well as if not delt with early big spells/not delving to cast spells are always amazing, not to mention the hardcast of chromanticore being possible!

As well as just lets you take your time and not try to race with creatures and end up over extending. Ugin as a back up win condition is rather strong too.

Next card I'm thinking of testing is "right of undoing" in the sb. Figure save a walker from downfall as well as mess up their tempo with a possible counterspell behind it might turn out good. It has delve so chances are it's good lol

I do like it but with this going more control it just didn't fit in well. For the faster Afro/midrangish it was awesome but I'm trying a different less straight forward route that's working awesome honestly.
