I thought about using Frost Titans before. But mainly on the fact right now that I cannot get ahold of them at the moment.

Often time I'll have enough Artifacts into play by the time I have to use Stoic giving it the Metalcraft so it costs the same as Deprive. Also, in my current playing environment, I usually have to sling several counterspells in one turn against the people I play locally, so Deprive is not really an option for me because it will set me back sever lands a lot of the time.

And I thought about using fetches before and even tried them out for a while, but the way I play drags the game out long enough that the fetched end up becoming dead draws late game. Especially with the huge amount of draw power I can get late game.

Having mana open is not really an issue for me. I do most of my plays on my opponents turn, when it matters for my deck. And Roil has always been my trust response to planeswalkers and pesky artifacts my opponent is using.

Also, I used to run Jaces, but since New Phyrexia came out, I replaced them with Praetor's Grasp. mainly because I can use it to take my opponent's potential Jace when facing another control deck. I've had a habit to take my opponent's Counterspells to use them against them too, or to just keep them from using it on me.

personally, i love Due Respect. It is a really good card to consider putting in if you want to, and it really does help slow down your opponent to tap down their permanents for a turn. And well, I do like that it allows you to draw a card as well. That could always help speed you up while keeping your opposition down. Really good for a 2-drop.

Personally, I like the split lands that give me that 1 life. I've had so many accounts where that 1 life has made a huge difference in games I've played. But then again, I like to play a very slow paced game.

Sounds good. I honestly don't see Body and Mind getting a lot of play with Pro-Blue/Pro-Green. But it can still be side.
But the changes sound good.

Well, there is also always the option of maining some more split-lands. Sejiri Refuge is always an option. Although maining Tech Edges is often good too. I just have a personal thing against Halimar Depths, I'll level with you about that. When it comes down to it, it's really what you want to do with your deck. I don't like other control decks getting the upper hand on me because of their lands, especially when I face against Caw-Blade, so personally, i main Tech Edges.

Here, this is my Blue/Black Control: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=181869

2 Belerens? Well, that would really depend on what you would take out. If you're talking about replace 2 Mind Sculptors for 2 Belerens, it might be an option. And for sake of winning in Jace Wars its always a good idea. I did the same in my Blue/Black Control deck, using little Jace to keep from running into a Mind sculptor.

This deck landed me 3rd at my local FNM. Any thoughts on improvement would be great.

My personal choice is Condemn, only because of the instant speed. Granted Oust is still a good option. And using Halimar for deck manipulation is understandable, but you're already running 4 Mind Sculptors and 4 Preordains. between the scrying and the brainstorming, do you really need the manipulation from Halimar?

You should run Tectonic Edges or Mystifying Mazes too. Try to fine room for either. I don't think you will be needing that many Day of Judgments either, 3 at best.

I would take out the Flensermites and Virulent Wounds. and split 3 Throats, 3 Dismembers, and replace the Grasp or Darkness for either 3 Silence or 3 Condemn. that should be enough as far as kill/control spells go. Reduce Hand of the Praetors to 3 as well. That will reduce your deck down to 60 cards. And you're better off not running the Whispering Spectres and just sticking with 4 Plague Stingers.

and where i live, i see more control than i do Kuldotha a Rush decks. and this is really my first attempt at a deck that is even a bit aggro. I'm more used to control based deck since my main deck is my Blue/Blck Control: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=181869

Again, I'm lacking on the Bloodghasts. If I had more, I would run them. and as for Hexmages, I'm still working on getting them at all.

I don't think you really need Venser. Granted, he would be nice to have to 'blink' your Splicers and produce more Golem tokens. But he can be taken out for something else. Also, since you're running white you can run Precursor Golem like Blood said and invest in some protection cards like Apostle's Blessing and Emerge Unscathed.

Why run those fetch lands when you can easily just use another dual-land like Jwar Isle Refuge or Creeping Tarpit?

I honestly tried running Nighthawks in my deck at one point, but they hardly ever got to see any play-time at all. Not to mention Seer goes really well with Kalastria Highborn. I would also put Bloodghasts in here, but I would prefer to run either 3-4 and I only have 2.

From personal experience, the Gal Blast's additional burn has helped me out a lot before too.
But if I had more Bloodghasts, I would definitely replace them.

Why even run Emeria Sky Ruin? You dont even have 7 plains in your deck so you may as well play a normal Plains.\
