Deck discussion for EDH: Grimgrin - Northern Edit

I love to see that you have gotten inspiration from my deck.
And about all the changes that you've made, I must admit that Protective Bubble was an incredibly good idea.

So, you wanted some suggestions here? Guess I have couple of them...

-Just like in my original deck, Murder of Crows can be quite potent. It is pretty much like Harvester of Souls most of the time, while you also get rid of all the dead draw.
-This new 2015 core set card, was it "Eternal Thirst"? Guess so. It is an aura that gives lifelink and ability which grants +1/+1 counters whenever a creature dies.
-Sadistic Glee could also work. It basically doubles Grimgrin's ability's effectiveness.
-Cemetery Puca or Lazav, Dimir Mastermind could be better choices instead of Cryptoplasm, even though Cryptoplasm is a great card.

I hope at least one suggestion helped.

Hey, that card was actually called Eternal Thirst, but it only helps when your OPPONENT'S creature dies, so guess it won't be that good then.

Also, I forgot to mention about Dictate of Erebos! It is incredible in every sacrifice deck!

Murder of crows I will be swapping for Harvester of Souls.
I agree that Cemetary Puca would be better, but I don't have access to it at the moment (dropping cards I want to swap in the sideboard for now)
Lazav would be a great choice, but he only takes from opponents dying creatures. The deck that I go up against the most often is a Ghave deck that basically uses ridiculous amounts of tokens to overwhelm me, and not much else.
Swapping Sadistic Glee for Quest for the Grave Lord, just don't see as much help coming from the Grave Lord as I would from the Glee.

Northy: Have a request for a budget EDH deck. Child of Alara general. Creatures kept low (like none would be awesome), all instants and sorceries. Bounces, Counters, Kills, Wipes. After editing your Talrand deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/landolien/decks/talrand-edh-modified/) to my tastes I felt the desire to make a deck that is entirely built around keeping the board state clear. Prefer to keep it in the RUB spectrum, but willing to see other sides. If you can think of a better general that interacts well with this idea I would be willing to hear it out. Budget can run up to $150ish too, might make it slightly easier to work with a five color. Interested?
