I assume you mean Stromkirk, not stormblood. However, I have to agree. If you want a red human 1 drop, then go with Reckless Waif. Since it comes in to play as a human, it triggers your champions.

I'd suggest taking out the Skirsdag Cultists for a full playset of Falkenrath Nobles. Not entirely sure about the masticore or Necropede either. I think that you would be better off with 4x Thopter assembly and 4x Palladium Myr. Also as such, it may not hurt running a few Myr Galvanizers in there to help with the off-turn flash.

Two Kobolds plus cloudstone plus the liege = instant win.

Answer to your question about Prey Upon, yes they can.

-1 Army and -1 bitterblossom for +2 Rampant Growth. Helps with deck thinning and mana ramp, which for this deck will be very important.

I tested it yesterday, and really didn't do so well. Had a few bad draws, and a couple play mistakes. I think that Norn would probably be a good idea though, since Sheoldred is not a may ability, and at one point, I almost had to kill my own Sheoldred.

Have you thought about using Kobolds? Since they all cost 0, it'd be easier.

Great ideas from both of you. I may just have to do so. :D

Really, I just tossed the Traitorous Blood in the SB for fun. I like the card, so I kinda let it chill there. Now, I do agree with the Arc Trails going MB, however, I'm trying to keep this relatively cheap, so I'm sticking with the 2 titans MB But I may mix and match my Ragers with some Bloodgift demons, because this deck is REALLY slow without HS, and so I like having draw to make sure I can get a HS, plus once HS is out, Card draw is never a bad thing, so that we can pump out more and more critters.

Love the deck idea. Kinda found it funny, I was just thinking of a VERY similar idea, and I hadn't seen your version until now. Here's my slightly different take on the deck for comparison. Love swapping ideas man.

Haha, thanks SWN. I was debating on using Jin, but the heavy cost is a bit of a turn-off to me for some reason. But I did need filler anyway, so I think that He's going in one way or another. I don't need over 40 lands.

oops, sorry Wumps, I think my computer clicked the delete button on my. XD But thank you. I'm normally not a huge fan of EDH, but I like the idea of using a deck that can continually dig through itself and find what you need, and in combination with Tomorrow's ability, you'll be digging through as fast as possible, as well as using a bunch of brainstorm effects. With tomorrow, almost every spell I cast becomes a Ponder.

Stormblood Berserker, Mentor of the Meek, Rally the Peasants, all would be great additions to fit in here.

Since the vampires are so expensive, I am running rampant growth as well to speed it up a bit

Ummmmm.... No. The new term for dying is a creature being put into a graveyard from the battlefield. Which includes sacrificing.

Tezz's gambit, Grim affliction, and Steady progress. All would be great to help along the Grimoire, and if needed, the Gambit and Progress can help find it.

Seeing as this is Standard, I would look in to Birds of Paradise instead of the Pilgrim for better mana fixing and an aerial blocker.

Maybe Doom Blade/GftT, but with a lot of Hexproof in standard, I like the sacrifices.
