How to Play

This deck can win with or without the combo. With combo:
Bloodsoaked Champion -> Wall of Mulch -> Either Kheru Bloodsucker, Grim Haruspex, Gift of Immortality or Athreos, God of Passage (Gift should go onto your Wall at this stage) -> Siege Rhino asap (Gift it if pos) then Drop Ascendancy. From turn 5 onwards play Sorin, Whip, and charms as needed. Hold Hornet Queen if you think there will be a Wipe otherwise drop it asap and gift the Queen and use Bloodsuckers Sac ability to kill it give Bloodsucker +1/+1 and then drop Queen back into play with Gift triggering the Queens ability. (same idea with the Siege Rhino).
With Sorin Pump him to ultimate.

Deck discussion for Abzan Ascendancy Combo

I like Kheru Lich Lord, it's a brilliant card! I think the combo is a bit hard to pull off though. There's only 8 walls to sac, ànd you need Gift of Immortality to pull it off, both are very susceptible to removal... Also, it only works once each turn.

I've got a golgari deck revolving around saccing creatures with toughness 4 or more that's way cheaper than this, and is far more versatile. It's also much more fun to play :-) Check it out for ideas!

Thanks yeah it's really slow and clunky. Sure when it goes of its insane but to many working parts. I'm testing it on MTGO at the moment, so hopefully have a more streamlined version soon.
