What do I replace out of the sideboard though?
Made edits to the deck today after the most recent FNM. I cut Ire Shaman, Titan's Strength, Firedrinker Satyr, Goblin Glory Chaser, and Mardu Scout. I replaced the lot of them with the Outburst/Fodder/Denizen package from before. Also, made removed the Rending Volleys from the sideboard and replaced them with Smash to Smithereens.P.S. U/R Running with Scissors is officially #1 my hit list of decks to beat.
Also, I took the deck to a local FNM today. Did alright, but you were right. The Titan's Strengths were ok at punching through damage but I usually wanted more creatures then the extra damage. The Ire Shamans were awful since I never had time to mega-morph them. And the Glory Chaser was absolute clown shoes except the one time I drew him in my opening hand when I was on the play. And I got one of my Firedrinkers Shrapnel Blasted. Never again.
So it's fine now.
I decided to lower my curve way to the ground. Going big simply wasn't working with all the control decks in my meta. I've sorta started looking at how easy it would be to make a white version of the Mono-Red Aggro deck that's been winning in my area.
I took that into consideration with this build. Thanks. Hopefully, it works out all right.
No but I fixed it to standard.
Oh yes. I forsee many issues indeed.
While agree that the green splash might help, I haven't felt a real need for it. I haven't found the life-gain decks that really hurt me. This isn't a world with Sphinx's Revelation or anything even close.
I can understand cutting the fetches as I usually just want the Mountain. But does the green splash really help this deck that much? I haven't found a deck where I said, "I could really use an Atarka's Command right now." The Destructive Revelry maybe... But anyone who's throwing down Whips is usually dead by then so the whip isn't killing me. And the Coursers are covered with the Roasts as are the Siege Rhinos. I just don't see a need to split my mana that way and risk an unneeded screw.
Why doesn't the Assualt Strobe work? Wouldn't it make the Ball Lightning deal 12 rather than just 6?
Riot Control and Rootborn Defenses are both rotating in two weeks as well.
Cut trained caracal, urbis protector, swift justice, wear//tear, and alive//well. All of those are rotating out in two weeks. Look at the KTK spoilers for other ideas.
Ok... So i built this deck for my brother as a joke. And... Umm... I may have just broke EDH this deck is just evil to play against. And this is the super-nerfed version... So... Yeah....
Yeah. Thanks. The Firedrinkers do sting a little when they get killed. I'll try to replace them 3 of each one drop. 3x Firedrinker Satyr, 3x Legion Loyalist, 3x Rakdos Cackler, 3x Foundry Street Denizen
What would I cut for those cards? They both solid picks for this kind of a deck. Especially the denizen.
Thats actually false. Relentless Rats can still be played in any number regardless of the deck. 112.6m An ability that modifies the rules for deck construction functions before the game begins. Such an ability modifies not just the Comprehensive Rules, but also the _Magic: The Gathering_ Tournament Rules and any other documents that set the deck construction rules for a specific Constructed format. However, such an ability can't affect the format legality of a card, including whether it's banned or restricted. The current _Magic: The Gathering_ Tournament Rules can be found at .
Boundless realms isnt worth the card slot because i have enough ramp as is. Its not going to benefit me because i reflect most of mana. That and need to have enough land for it to be worthwhile.
Do this deck still need more lands? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.
