You can't worry about counters. The more counters that you have, the less mill you have. The opponent will always have more counters than you. So you just have to not worry about them. If it makes you feel better about running out of mills, use the 1 elixir of immortality in the side board if you find you are running out of mill cards to fast...Also, your mana curve is already 5 so Mirko won't truly affect it much. I'd take out the guildmages and put in the Mirko.

Mirko Vosk I've found is a great milling creature. Having to mill until you hit four lands every-time he does player damage is pretty nasty.

Your premise is good, but if you are playing a control deck or someone with supreme verdict you get board wiped and then you are left with nothing. You need something to counter their counters. You whole win condition is based off those two cards. Good idea in theory, but it looks to be easily counterable.

Noob alert. Mutavault says that it becomes a 2/2 creature with all creature types. Is that all creature types on the battlefield or all creature types period?

How does pithing neede help against Ætherling? Pithing needle doesn't help if it is a mana ability...or am I looking at this wrong?
