Birds of Paradise isn't too useful for mono-color. I'd switch them out with Elvish Archdruid/Priest of Titania/Greenweaver Druid. Asceticism will save your butt a few times; that card's the bane of my existence for a couple of my decks. You shouldn't need too much mana acceleration after the creatures, so Rampant Growth can still be useful, but is optional. Overrun is a solid card to use close to the end game as well. Just my two cents ;-)

Except those cards getting exiled means they don't help with pyromancer ascension. Not to mention the guttersnipe giving the +2 per instant/sorcery (which typically happens more than once a turn)

Don't have a lot of experience running land destruction myself...does splinter allow you to search for lands and destroy all of them? It *does* say 'card' with the same name, not artifact (even if the land was an artifact from the start). Also, maybe Rampant Growth for ramp instead of Search for Tomorrow? It seems like you don't have a lot going that keeps you alive early on, so solid mana acceleration is probably key here.

I'll look into it; it's my first attempt at a burn deck, and the bulk of the creatures have kept me going. Might get rid of the lavamancer or the phoenix, but pumping up the spitfire and kiln fiend with instants, then flinging them has won me more than a few games.

Haha nope. Re-sold em for 75% value to fund my blue control deck.

I do have this deck in real life, and it actually cost a good deal more with the trial-and-error of figuring out what does and doesn't work (manakin, metalworker, excess eyes of ugin, eldrazi temples, etc). So far though, the finalized version has won every set (2/3) that I've played. If you don't mind a lack of legality, replace the mana vault, mirrorworks and eternity vessel with 3x sol ring. Works much better. If you draw a sample hand, any opening hand with 1-2 mana acceleration cards, an expedition map/eye of ugin, or a skyship weatherlight is basically a solid bet to win. Once you can use the skyship, or start getting creatures with the eye (usually by turn 2-3), you're pretty much set to win.

At this point, the only thing I really want to fix is finding something better for the deck than the spawnsire. Switched it out for the Ulamog's Crusher for now, since It doesn't have a lot of lower cost creatures, but meh.

I agree on the Vesuva end-It's one of the spendy lands though, and while helpful, not a necessity at this point.

That's what That which was Taken is for. By the time the field would be wiped, I usually have that out. Also, I don't have the endless myr combo at the moment. Not fond of it.

Might put darksteel forge up instead of Deathrender. Not a bad idea. Kuldotha forgemaster is an unnecessary sacrifice when I've got Skyship Weatherlight helping me out. Mirrorworks could be a solid replacement for one of the voltaic keys or spawnsire.

As for stalling, I'm thinking about adding an eternity vessel for mid-game saves. The Silent Arbiter and platinum emperion keep me alive just fine. Might add the wurmcoil engine into a side deck, along with a couple of other cards for when I face off against other colorless/artifact decks though. Thanks!

A couple of Elvish Champions and Imperious Perfects tossed in there couldn't hurt. Ezuri, Renegade Leader is also a must for any elf deck. I would also replace a couple of the tribal unities with (or add) overrun in there. +X/+X is great and all, but if you're facing off against another elf deck (or worse, a token deck), they can easily be blocked.
