awesome! only things im missing are a couple of the temples, the new b/w god, and brizmaz but that shouldnt be too big a problem

i hear what youre saying about courser and i totally understand. just another option if you find yourself behind in the draw or the land drops because of those pesky mono black devotion decks or mill decks

thanks!

this deck looks amazing.

if its cool im going to build this deck and playtest it on saturday at a std tournament
maybe think about courser of kruphix? helps with the ramp and a 2/4 3 drop isnt bad
seeing as youll be drawing at least 2 extra once the combo is out playing that top deck land or shipping it with the temples will be SHAmazing

nice job!!

this is a really nice budget deck!
what about lyev decree? might be a little more flexible than master of diversions?
and phalanx leader in place of capashen knight?

i dont think so. if im understanding the ruling correctly, it would have to come onto the battlefield under your opponents control. the way it would work is that you would play tempting wurm, then it resolves and your opponent would play whatever they want from their hand, then you could activate bazaar traders ability to transfer the wurm over to your opponents side of the field. im not sure theres a way to make that work in your favor, but my understanding could be wrong. i dont think that you can transfer ownership of a permanent before it resolves, but its possible. i can ask a judge for you if youd like. lemme know!

woah i feel dumb i didnt realize it was you who commented this deck before :X

anyways! here goes
moved the foundry to the sb, replaced chronologist
removed thieving magpie, replaced with 3 fog bank
removed stasis, foil, and rhystic study to get the count to around 70

i feel like this deck is still to big, but these changes should really help me speed this mother up

thank you!!

wow man for the money this deck would SLAUGHTER at the standard tournaments i go to
might not be able to beat the better control decks ive played and lost hard against, but still for a sub $20 deck this would be pretty amazing

only thing is, and bear with me, i would swap out the keyrune and cluestone with azorius charms
theyre a touch more pricey, but so much more beneficial i think

again, great build!

same time zone, so were both in the same boat!
anyways i just always preferred to return to hand or top of library, then counter when they try to come back out but i guess that really wouldnt jive with a simic build would it?

we are two of the same mind when it comes to burn decks Jessie...who cares if you take damage or your opponent has started some crazy weird combo? just hit them with ball lightnings and fireblasts until they stop moving!

i concede...chain lightning is superior
and if i had the cash i would have had goblin guide in here looong ago...ive had a buncha lackeys forever but this isnt real life! so he goes in anyways

this deck has been my workhorse to win in 4 turns and make my friends mad for ages now so itll be fun to change her around and see how she does

thanks for the comments!

i dont think that valakut or thunderblust would help you out all that much, since alot of the time with mono red legacy youre aiming to win by turn 4 or 5 at the latest

tormods crypt would also work the same way as bojuka bog...just sayin

i have a similar build, but more control based...hence the name
http://www.mtgvault.com/mattorihanzo/decks/complete-control/

this has gotta be one of my favorite combos

any advice on my U/W detain deck would really be appreciated!

nice build!

i dont understand the need for curse of the swine...why destroy your opponents creatures, and give them creatures back in turn?
its really late where i am and i cant think of anything to replace it with, but when i do ill post it here

again though awesome build
