Shhhh
What can I say, Hydras are the best :)

True lay of the land is a very poor substitute for farseek but it sort of generates virtual card advantage in that it thins your deck by taking out lands and putting them in your hand

You know what just for you i'll take out 2 lay of the lands and add in one of each :P
(I'm not a fan of having singles in my decks but whatever)

Having Domri over Garruk tho is purely personal preference
For me it's just nicer to have a 3 drop planeswalker but I can definitely see how powerful Garruk would be

Try fitting in guttersnipe if you're going for burn

Good idea.
I don't think that many other decks can compete in tokens especially when I'm running so much control
(plus I've got Electrickery, Izzet Staticaster and Mizzium Mortars sideboarded)

NICE
Looks much faster with the mana elves and haste
Just a small tweak i'd rather get 4 elvish mystics and 2 arbor elfs just because arbor elf can sometimes be inconsistent
I'm also not too sure on the huntmaster but it's personal choice i guess

one last thing: try adding burning tree emissary

I think my deck has more synergy than yours
For example you don't have Desecration Demon which forces your opponent to sac creatures and make your creatures stronger
Why do you need to making things unblockable when you already have 5/5 flying Jace's Phantasm and 6/6 flying Desecration Demon... Waste of mana much?
Also you have no creature removal The only thing you have is Dimir Charm which won't work against bigger threats

My deck will also be faster
You have more lands clogging your deck and you need 4 mana to play diabolic tutor whereas i can play 4 mana to play Desecration Demon or Lazav, Dimir Mastermind (and then Murder your strongest creature and copy it)
As well as that Mind Grind needs lots of mana to use it effectively so it's not good in rush decks and you're running 4 in your deck...

"Good Combos"
Are you serious bro
If anything my deck has more combos than yours

haha it was more of a joke than actual criticism

I always associate green with llanowar elves and sorcery fetch lands

You rely a lot on the Pyromancer + Dragonshift combo but if you don't get Pyromancer out early and making tokens ASAP i think this deck will be a little slow

Idk try adding more creatures?

Heh I have to agree Kraimer
But then again that's why you gotta help new deck builders
Teach em the ways of the mana base, mana curve, card advantage etc

Fair enough
I love hydras to bits
Most badass creature type in the game without a doubt
(next to dragons of course)

Hydra decks in general tend to be "win more" just because of the fact that if you do manage to get a hydra down before your opponent is prepared for it, you've basically won from there

Good luck with your further tweaks :)

The chance of getting 4 creature lands when you only have 8 in the deck is 8/60
That simplifies into basically 1/7 which is honestly pretty low...

Again elite arcanist is 1/1 without hexproof, so easily destroyed by removal or countered

I really love your combos tho, you're so clever for spotting these infinite mana cards.

It's just getting them into work (consistently) is very hard

Excellent concept on paper but very weak in game

You're not running any counterspells even though you're blue
AND
Your deck relies on elite arcanist which is a measly 1/1 without hexproof

Elite arcanist is a 4 drop

Any control decks running counterspells or removal can kill it with 2 mana with doomblade or essence scatter etc (some as little as 1 - elecktrickery and other 1 to cast burn/removal)

Are you aware of the concept of "thinning your deck"?
This is why fetchlands of Zendikar were so powerful and so expensive

When you play elixir you get your deck back closer to 60 cards again making it mathematically harder to get the cards that you want.

Also nobody plays mill in the competitive scene.
As well as that how do you know that when you shuffle your deck again that you won't hit a pocket of something you don't want again? Shuffling is a random process

Elixir is a good card yes but not mainboard worthy
Put it in the sideboard

You never see elixir in the mainboard of tournament decks (and not in the sideboard either)

What he said
I think you need more aggressive 1 drops ready to deal damage and pressure your opponent early
Try putting in Rakdos Cackler

I don't think is tournament quality just yet...
I honestly think adding blue isn't worth it in this deck
Sure Vorel is a pretty nice addition but when your hyrdras are already like 5+/5+ there's no reason to add even more counters...
Same with Master Biomancer. Not worth the 4 mana.

My suggestion is you take out the blue and put in more green mana ramp cards

And rancor...
Why haven't you put rancor into this deck yet

Sorry to say I don't think this deck is worth the 300 bucks for it's effectiveness
