Deck Description

discovered this yet or put it to use.

- Idea is completely of my own, and with my little twist on how I like to run it.
- I just hope that if anyone uses this idea, credit is given.
Have fun and good luck!

Updated since last time around. Play-tested and threw in golem strategy to add an extra kick in the face to things.

Another nifty thing is that if you imprint an artifact creature, it makes artifact and creature spells you cast cost 2 less, so butcher and precursor usually hit the field early to mid game. Then the corpse cur chump block, sacrifice with viscera seer ensues..........hehehe oh and if you didn't already have enough wither counters on your creatures, get ready to sack it when I sack my corpse cur to scry, or my golems to the monument because butcher is on the field.

Happy Camping!!! =]

Deck discussion for T2 Infinite Infect. Can't believe no one has

Not bad deck, i wouldn't want this against me, but then again your deck will fall agains leyline of the void

i think any graveyard deck falls against it. but then again, it's t2 infinite infect, it has flaws like every infinite.

this doesnt work, once you play the 2nd semblance anvil you have no cards left in your hand, assuming you played first. and where would you get all the corpse curs from?

you draw them from your deck....

ok, but even if you did draw your first turn that would only leave you with one card in your hand after you play the second semblance anvil because you have to imprint a card onto each, and thats taking into account the card you draw each turn. plus you have a very small chance of getting all those corpse curs.

It's a pretty good combo, but not quite as fast as you think. Still, like the deck.

and you can side in whatever artifact for more options, like culling dais to get corpse curs to grave, and draw engine.

Deck got a 9/10 from me. Good creativity! I'm already having my buddy try it out in his U/B infect. You'll be sure to get credit.

seems interesting. As stated above, there is no way you can get this to go off on turn 3. If you were extremely lucky to draw all the cards needed, then you could do infinite scrye on turn 4, and that is if you're on the draw. Which would put your infinite poison on turn 5. At best it's a mid-game combo, and pray they aren't playing any removal...

yes... fetch lands would make it faster you are correct. But i never liked the loss of life unless I knew I was gonna win. I'll keep the fetch lands sideboard just in-case I play another infect deck to get my things out faster. Thanks!

I love the idea :) I enjoy seeing these creative little rogues float around, they're so refreshing from the same old million dollar Titan/Valakut, or Quest for the Holy First Turn Win, etc.

Decided to design this deck with my own spin, here's the link:

Wouldn't Preordain be almost strictly better in a combo deck that Twisted Image for card drawing power? Seems pretty good to me anyways... Also, you're combo seems easy enough to disrupt and hard to put together. It needs more ways to set it up and disrupt the opponent I think. Duress could be quite helpful for turn 1, along with Inquisition of Kozilek.

twisted image's target the precursor golem, say you have a semblance anvil out, artifacts and creatures now cost 2 less to cast, cast a precursor golem for 3, use one blue mana to cast twisted image on one, you now copy it two other times, making three in all, and you switch power and toughness, doesn't really matter since their all 3/3 anyways, and draw three cards for one blue, remember that power nine card ancestral recall? oh it's back alright. now lets say you had five mana and you hit another twisted image in those three cards. you just drew six cards for two blue mana, and have creatures and artifacts cost two less, big play next turn? cast for free a couple myrs for either chump blockers to sac and scry, or just for extra mana for rite of replication on a golem or anything else big on the field, if they kill eldrazi monument, then you have golems still, if they kill golems, sac each of them to scry in response, beefing up the blade of bloodchief equipment on any of your vamps. trust me, it works lol just have to know what your doing, and i believe if you go after one, they won't see the other coming.

Sure.. In theory of course. But I would never go as far to say Ancestral Recall is back. Not even close! The golems are soo easily wipe form the board or just flat out counters. I don't think they stand a chance in this format, as is. Against valakut, they play a mountain. Wipe out your vampire, then crush every golem with ease (assuming they don't just burn you for 12 to the face...).

ol it's the blindside factor. that, and if you wanna build another valakut deck. to each their own. I have another deck set up for just valakut and the other big decks out there. this is for fnm local play. and im sure with a couple of sides no one will have an "easy time" against this. but regardless and all else aside, thanks for taking a look and the feedback! :]
